truth on hold Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Great article overall about what it's really like in the NFL trenches. Of particular relevance for Bills: these guys are not given adequate time to recover after a game. The problem is compounded on turf. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/20/sports/football/kris-jenkinss-view-of-life-in-the-nfl-trenches.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&ref=sports Edited November 20, 2011 by Joe_the_6_pack
mrags Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Great article. Very informative. I never liked Jenkins when he played but since retirement I find him very likable in interviews and with his new broadcasting gig.
Hapless Bills Fan Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Great article overall about what it's really like in the NFL trenches. Of particular relevance for Bills: these guys are not given adequate time to recover after a game. The problem is compounded on turf. http://www.nytimes.c..._r=1&ref=sports Interesting article. The comment caught my eye that the Pats use acupuncture and Pilates, and that better recovery is a key to their success. Pilates is interesting. It looks like all this little pansy a** stuff but when you try it, it can kick your a**.
truth on hold Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Caught my eye about mangini and his hard practices, having no idea how that effects a player since he never played. Edited November 20, 2011 by Joe_the_6_pack
