BiggieScooby Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Let him compete for a job in training camp like everyone else.
HuSeYiN1978 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I think we should draft a player that looks like Merriman and give him jersey #56 and the black visor he uses and tattoo the same tattoos that merriman has and make him come out the tunnel and never take his helmet off and even if he doesn't play good the other team will use a double team on him thinking it's really merriman which will free up Dareus and Kyle williams to get to the QB...
Dont Stop BILL-ievin' Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Make OLB the top priority of the draft next year. Bring back Merriman, but he will likely need 2 years to come back from this surgery...Should not be part of the plan.
Dr. Trooth Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Move on to the next topic. Merriman is done, finished. Bring him back to do the radio play by play... anybody's better than Murphy.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Unless he's due a big March 1st bonus payment, I'd say bring him back. Not much of a downside. I think I'd try to bring in some better depth though so if he doesn't work out, you have a better backup than we do now.
Max997 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Won't cost much more to keep him then to cut him do mind as well since if he can finally come back healthy
bladiebla Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) His surgery went well, and he was clearly a very important factor in the team. We lost Merriman, we started loosing games. Edited November 20, 2011 by bladiebla
NFLBighits Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Or we could go out and get a REALLY GOOD linebacker in free agency. Naw, just kidding... Is that you Ralphie
