By ammonia containing lime and cover his lawn at about 1ton an acre (maybe cost ya $40 bucks), take some 2-4-D and spray any broadleaf plants he may have. Soon you will have no trees to worry about, or grass or flowers, yeah...do that Wait, VA. Buy bags of sulfur. Different soil pH.
