I think I figured it out-any talk of entitlement reform makes DC Tom have bad thoughts of race start to bounce around in his head and he has to deflect them onto someone else before he accidentally lets one slip and his online persona he's spent so much time cultivating is ruined. Yes, the previous lynchings of Dave. I've never seen Dave have a bad singular post but he nearly always posts something related to blacks. He doesn't do himself any favors by not posting about other subjects, and he doesn't need anyone named "Wisconsin Bills Fan" sticking up for him. I know you are new and claimed that you were never on this board before a few days ago, but you might want to change your name. The original "Wisconsin Bills Fan" made Mel Gibson look like a Zionist. There is a faction here that sees racism in a lot of things and there is a faction here that sees things a little differently. I'm not one to jump on the racism bandwagon when one posts the truth about something. I'm also one that doesn't think that frank discussions about race should be taboo here. Dave has a right to post his schit, but he's considered a one trick pony by many here and would be wise to start some threads that had to do with something other than race. Nothing wrong with taking care of people when they fall on hard times, but eventually they need to stand on their own two feet and get off the governments teet. I didn't say one thing about this particular thread starting post. I was making some comments regarding Dave's posts in general directed at a new member that was wondering why Tom was all over Dave. As you should know by now, I've stuck up for Dave on numerous occasions. Is he a racist? I don't know. Some think so because of his volume of posts regarding blacks, but I can't fault him for any singular post. Would he be wise to post some schit every once in a while that couldn't be construed as relating to blacks? One would think so, but I'm not here saying Dave is wise or even approaching a rudimentory level of intelligence. I'm saying he isn't posting anything that should be considered racist. There's people in my family on welfare (some of whom don't deserve to be, and really need to get their lazy asses out and get a job). That doesn't make Dave any less a racist. I really haven't paid attention -- didn't we reform this back in the 90s so you couldn't make it a lifetime handout? What's the issue now, that they put anyone and their lazy do-nothing brother on welfare so they can call them "poor"? Or did the Democrats just undo the last reform entirely.
