PromoTheRobot
link New research that suggests Jupiter's moon Europa has a body of water the size of the Great Lakes just two miles below its icy surface has brought scientists one step closer to determining whether or not the freezing satellite is suitable for the development of extraterrestrial life. K-9
Weird. It's like Arthur C. Clarke was psychic or something... It's uncanny how prescient some science fiction writers were. H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, etc. Weird indeed.

DC Tom
Weird. It's like Arthur C. Clarke was psychic or something... Clarke managed to write a lot of things that ultimately came to pass. Communication satellites spring most immediately to mind - as I recall, his description of a fictional communication satellite so accurately described the first real one (Echo 1) that he could have all but designed it.
