LabattBlue Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! The NFL screws the Bills again. Based on the outcome of the first meeting, the Jets could have beat the Bills with the Jets having played a game the prior day.
49er Fan Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Luck of the draw - every team has a bye week. The long week advantage NYJ have vs. BUF was a short week disadvantage vs. DEN.
opfball91 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Two straight wins on the road, both to divisional opponents, after this we'll know if we're still in the playoff run.
muffmonster Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 No excuses, let's just beat these cocky a-holes. What he said, put up or shut up. We have to go in there knowing that the refs love New Jersey as well. There has to be a way to cover Plaxico and protect against his blatant offensive pass interference while avoiding the defensive version.
SactoBillFan Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 If the Bills start playing better they might get some prime time Thursday games and get that advantage also.
I hate the Bills ! Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Its a massive conspiracy by the NFL to screw the Bills and make the Jets look better!
Roger Goodell Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Its a massive conspiracy by the NFL to screw the Bills and make the Jets look better! Shhhhh.....that's supposed to be a secret.
CowgirlsFan Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 This can be said for the Lions/Packers... Dolphins/Cowboys...Ravens/49ers too. After their games on Thanksgiving each team will have extra time to prepare for their games on Dec 4th.
K-9 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Whether or not the Jets have two weeks, 10 days, or no time at all to prepare for the Bills doesn't matter. Until the Bills show they can beat what the Jets did last game, that's what they'll stick to. The little extra rest will sure help but that's payback for the short week. They certainly don't need any more film study of the Bills. GO BILLS!!!
Just in Atlanta Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 And the Jets had to play the Broncos, in Denver, after playing Sunday night. No excuses. Time to shine.
dpberr Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 The Broncos gave the Bills the game plan to beat the Jets last night. Run it and punch them in the mouth. Time and time again and run over Revis. I see the Jets layoff working to the Bills advantage. The days upon days of withering media and fan criticism won't motivate. You throw in Buffalo and New England wins this weekend, and I bet some of those Jets players start packing it in. I see it with Philadelphia living in the Eagles media market. The unfortunate thing to the layoff is that LT and Greene get healthy.
Max997 Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 do they really need to prepare any differently then they did for the last game?

They've gone from turning it around at 5-3 and everybody jumping back on the wagon, to 5-5, in third place in the division, and on the outside looking in at the playoffs. IN FIVE DAYS! That's gotta be weighing on them a bit. GO BILLS!!!
r00tabaga Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 Do we really need a fourth thread on this? I starting a topic on this Monday and there have been 3 since. Search button is our friend...
Woody Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I am surprised too...I thought they exclusively reserved that pre-Bills rest period for the patriots* each year! Billicheat must be hot!
Ramius Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Because God hates us! I call BS. If God hated us, he wouldn't have let His son lead the TD drive to beat the jets.
