truth on hold Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Pats getting ocho involved. That could be a difference maker
JerryG83 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Pass Interferance on Plaxico Burress. Collingswoth "They will call that every time" Except last week buddy
bizell Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) ahahahahha. they called plaxico burress on an offensive pass interference, and it was 1/10th of what he did to Leodis McKelvin. edit: damnit beaten Edited November 14, 2011 by bizell
truth on hold Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Interesting pats get ticky tack offensive pit on plax but bills didn't get mugging he did on mckelvin
Charles Romes Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I couldn't believe how slow Ocho looked on that long completion. A few years ago he would have split the Dbs and scored on that play. I have seen nothing tonight that convinces me he is not washed up which was everyone knew going into this game.
Mike in Syracuse Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Tom Brady could make a freaking sandwich with the time he has back there.
truth on hold Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Lol at Brady telling collingsworth no one holds a much as jets DBs and they should show a many examples as possible on tv
Charles Romes Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Interesting pats get ticky tack offensive pit on plax but bills didn't get mugging he did on mckelvin Maybe the refs would show McKelvin some respect if they didn't see him get torched for big plays every time they watched the Sunday highlights on Sports Center.
truth on hold Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 Another garbage call this time in plax favor. Refs can't seem to get it right on this guy
phypon Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Another garbage call this time in plax favor. Refs can't seem to get it right on this guy I agree. What's the deal this year? Are the defenders supposed to let the receivers make a clean catch before they hit them all in the name of safety? What happened to getting there when the ball hits the receiver and trying to disrupt the play? I don't get it.
BRH Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 I don't understand it. They called Brady for grounding and a safety. I'm sure there's a rule against that somewhere.
BuffOrange Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Maybe the refs would show McKelvin some respect if they didn't see him get torched for big plays every time they watched the Sunday highlights on Sports Center. Because McCourty has been shutting down everyone this year.

These questionable calls in the secondary are having too much influence on games. They need to consider making them reviewable

They need to consider making them reviewable Once again, I agree. It has been ridiculous. I also think that if they are going to call PI as frequently as they do when it's an ify call the penalty should be dropped to 15 yards at best rather than spot of the foul. Not sure if that is a solution or a good idea, but something has to change. Either way, there needs to be consistency on PI calls because it's been all over the place this season for many different teams and many different games.
BuffaloBaumer Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 For anyone who still thinks the Bills have a prayer at the playoffs (good luck), you should hope the Jets win this game. Jets are not going to lose to Buffalo and the Pats missing the playoffs is the most logical way.

Either way, there needs to be consistency on PI calls because it's been all over the place this season for many different teams and many different games. I've been saying this for a long time. The counterpoint is always "DB's would always then just tackle WR's when they're beat" - which is ridiculous because that never happens in college. But as long as the rule is what it is it's unfathomable how every team doesn't take 2+ deep shots per quarter. Edited November 14, 2011 by BuffOrange
BuffaloRebound Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Gronkowski is a beast. Glad we took Troup instead of the hometown kid.

Much better chance of the Bills picking up a flukey win in a one game scenerio than NE collapsing.
truth on hold Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 2nd week in a row Revis is called for holding. At least league is catching onto him
