Dorkington Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I know we just brough Chan and Nix in, and just signed Fitz to a new deal. But this team clearly needs to be rebooted again. Chan is a mediocre offensive coach. Nix is a horrible GM. Fitzpatrick is an average backup. Freddie is close to being over the hill. Spiller is a bust. Johnson is overrated. Jones is absolute crap. Our offensive line can't protect for longer than 2 seconds. Our defensive line is full of soft bodies. Our OLBs are undersized, inexperienced and simply useless. Our MLB are unreliable. Our CBs can't cover anyone. Our Safeties are often out of position. Our kicker and punter are close to over the hill too. Our recent drafts have netted us nothing. Our FA signings are mostly strike outs. The last 20 years have been failure after failure after failure. Maybe it needs to start at the top with Wilson. I'm sure this will be one of eleventy million frustration threads.

Dorkington Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 Clearly. This team needs to be sacked after every loss. PTR Not at all. The Bengals and Giants losses were excusable. The last two weeks though? Absolutely embarassing. We're getting worse, not better, as the season continues.
BiggieScooby Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 The P in PTR stand for Payroll. Payroll The Robot! It's okay for us to be upset PTR, I love you but you don't need to defend them on this one.
Dr. Fong Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Nothing changes until Mr. Wilson passes. And then they won't be the Buffalo Bills anymore. Guaranteed. Our chance to win it all died in the 90s. The dream is over. Nice while it lasted.

8-8 Forever? Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 (edited) Clearly. This team needs to be sacked after every loss. PTR Boy, Cowboys looked tough today. Big, fast, off and running. Amazing how when talented teams play big, you have no shot. Talent wins every time when motivated. Both Jets and Cowboys had motivation and mowed the Bills down. On the bright side, win in Miami and you are 6-4 with another shot at glory against the Jets. On the dark side, this is just how 2008 unraveled as well. Feel good start, then get blasted into oblivion... Edited November 13, 2011 by 8and8Forever
CodeMonkey Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Not at all. The Bengals and Giants losses were excusable. The last two weeks though? Absolutely embarassing. We're getting worse, not better, as the season continues. I disagree with this. The Bills are a little worse for wear as most teams are due to injuries. But overall they are not getting worse week to week. Early in the season the Bills D was getting very lucky with tips and other deflections falling into their hands and the results were lots of INTs and some pick-6's. That kind of luck is not sustainable over the course of a season as we are now seeing. The offense has been figured out now as well. You take away the short passing game as the Jets and now the Cowboys have done and that's pretty much it for the Bills Offense. None of this should be a surprise for long time Bills fans. Most should know the Bills are at least 2 more good drafts from being competitive with the better teams in the NFL. Miami is playing well, won their last 2 and the game is on grass next week. The fish were looking like sure wins for the Bills a few short weeks ago, but not so anymore.
Dorkington Posted November 13, 2011 Author Posted November 13, 2011 We aren't even in the same league as the Dolphins right now. Moore is going to look like Marino.
ko12010 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Definitely an extreme overreaction. Yes they have issues. But c'mon man you're going to say MLB is a problem area for us at the moment? Barnett has been awesome. You can't just say everything is crap. Definitely some crap but not everything. You don't win 5 games through halfway and have NOTHING at all to work with. Constant turnover is not the answer. Getting rid of Chan is not the answer. Its not the fact that we have alot of injuries - every team does, it's just that we don't have good depth as a football team yet. Injuries and lack of depth are killing the teams' performance and confidence each week. I understand your frustration. I am as well. But we have some solid pieces and need to keep building.
ThurmasThoman Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 thought this was a joke thread. i now realize this thread was made in seriousness. staying away from here until next saturday.
Endless Ike Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 We had a decent scheme that put our mediocre talent in a position to win. Other teams have caught up, and we can't make adjustments because the talent is mediocre. Its not the end of the world, we're just still not competitive when it comes to on-field talent.

I'm sure this will be one of eleventy million frustration threads. We don't need to get a new coach and a new GM and a new everything because they're playing poorly as of recent. I mean come on lets be realistic, none of us were saying this crap a few weeks ago. The problem is that they aren't playing with any rhythm, they've started the last 2 games just throwing the ball on every down of their first possession. Our offense is built on the balance that we maintained with a good run game. If you've noticed we've kind of lost sight of the balance in our attack. And we shouldn't panic due to being down by 7 and trying to pass every down. I think Gailey is a good coach and has the right idea the guys just aren't making adjustments pre-snap, that was clear on their first play from scrimmage. Obviously Wilson is a horrible owner. We all can agree on that. Spiller isn't a bust, he's just not being used properly, I mean how can a guy who touches the ball maybe 3 or 4 times a game ever progress? Our defense simply can't stop a nosebleed. George Edwards should have been released after last season. The front four don't get any pressure, they are playing a more simple defense than high school teams at this point and their front four are playing terrible. When there is no pressure by the front four it exploits and makes the LBs and DB's vulnerable. Edwards is making the mistake of trying to figure out how not to make them not look vulnerable when he should be looking at how to get more pressure. Moats should be starting he's our best pass rusher and there needs to be more accountability on the defensive line by the players themselves as well. Dwan Edwards is getting no pressure. Simply that 3-4 front isn't working AT ALL. Dareus and Carrington should be inside for starters.

Kaz Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 it's dramatic and a little over the top, but it's hard to disagree with the guy. Yup. Was there a silver lining today? Awful, awful defense. Poor execution and play calling on offense. Turnovers. Injuries. And another blowout loss when the final gun sounded. To be over-the-top irate and pessimistic is understandable.
Da Big Man Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Buddy "in bred" Nix said 2 preseasons ago that the Bills were 3 seasons away and he along with Chan " Red Neck" Gailey are in year 2 already. We have been in transition for 11 years. 4 GMs, 5 HC and 7 QBS.
