Clippers of Nfl
So what your saying is a few select individuals know more then the American people on what the American people like, and I disagree. Music that is appealing to people is in the ear of the beholder, and not you nor I or any single person can determine what the American people are going to like, only the American people can determine what the greater majority is going to like. dont take me too personal. read my sig. most of the time im probably kidding. HOWEVER ps. i dont know if you knew this but there were/are websites for idol that would encourage people to vote for the worst singer. so in a way america can get it wrong. imo they got it wrong with scotty mccreary last year. i love country but cant stand him. his slow songs are passable. once he gets some tempo, he stinks. i saw the country awards last week. he was AGAIN, the worse act. imo. best performances of the night that day were "run" by matt nathanson and jennifer nettles or the duo with carrie underwood, "remind me" *********************************** drew again is the most boring singer i have ever heard in my life. they told her up your tempo. you sound the same every week. what did she do? slowed down her tempo even more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the most boring singer in the planet and universe. even if there is life in other planets. she still sings more boring than any alien from any other planet. i would rather hear a cat meow loud as hell for hours while im watching my favorite movie or studying for my online course. ajzepp
imo they got it wrong with scotty mccreary last year. Amen to that, brother! That was awful... As for X-Factor, the only two I'm really interested in at this point are melanie amaro and josh krajkic. I love listening to Josh's vocals, and Melanie's voice can keep up with the divas of the industry without straining a bit. It was nice seeing L.A. and Simon getting into it a bit last night, even if it was sort of an act for the show. I love that they include over 30s and groups...just wish there were more groups this year that were worth a damn. That whole Glee experiment was horrid with the 10 castoffs or whatever that was. The chick group with the four ladies is okay, though. I like when they harmonize. Astro clearly has talent but just doesn't appeal to me at all. I have enjoyed most of Drew's performances but not so much last night. Rachel is cute with a great personality, but I usually give her the FF treatment. I do like the format, though, and I hope the show stays on a while. I expect Idol to fall off in terms of their numbers this year, especially with all these vocal competition shows out now. It'll be curious to see what the X-Factor factor is on Idol this year. Will there be as much anticipation for Idol 2012 as there has been in the past? After a relatively strong group last year, will the talent pool be really dry for this season? Will L.A and Simon heat things up enough with their arguing that the Steven Tyler, J-Lo, Randy combo will seem boring by comparison? Should be interesting, anyway. Rico
i thought she was african american. i dont know hispanics with hair like that. i also dont know too many hispanics that sing etta james songs. btw id rather be blind by etta james is such a nice song. if you like soul. I just know that she will be a nervous wreck every Thursday and will completely break down when she is booted, can't wait! Agree that Drew does suck, I thought she was great on the Roxette song but everything since then has been zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I'm not really sure what the voter demographics are, but if they are anything like Idol, i think the guy that sang Foo Fighters will win.

He needs to call the folks from Idol and get the Crystal Bowersox special. On the first few shows of her season of Idol, they were NASTY!! All of a sudden once the live shows came around she had clearly had some work done. But I think her's have got to be the worst I've seen yet

Scotty has not done well, I agree, in my opinion a good singer is as good as his or her song writer and since Scotty has never shown any creativity himself, somehow I'm not surprised. Singer/song writer combination's like Taylor Swift rule the music industry because not only can they sing well, they also write the songs. Good singers are a dime a dozen in my opinion... I hope someone sits down with this kid and explains to him the value of exposure on this sort of stage. He's a KID, and he's on national television with the legit possibility of developing as a recording artist. I'm sure NOBODY wants to be in the bottom two, but the fact is that the judges have been singing his praises since day one, and he's had how many weeks now to gain some exposure? The kid may very well get the chance to have some really cool stuff happening in his life, no matter where he finishes in this competition. It seems like for the most part he's very respectful, well spoken, and creative. Hopefully he just had an emotional moment and he won't repeat it, cause he came really close to blowing it this week. But for the most part, if he were my kid I'd be proud of the manner in which he's carried himself to this point.
