I think Donahoe and Modrak did there homework on this one.

Losman-McGahee-Evans Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 I would've taken : Terrence Newman Marcus Trufant Andre Woolfolk Sammy Davis Eugene Wilson Nnamdi Asomugha Charles Tillman ...before Terrance.

Terrence is in the pro-bowl, none of the rest are...do special teams not count??? Anyway, Newman is a joke, Woolfolk has been hurt, and Wilson isnt even at corner anymore. The only notably positive name is Tillman.

Meaning it wasn't necessarily his stellar CB play, which wasn't very good early in the year.

Meaning it wasn't necessarily his stellar CB play, which wasn't very good early in the year. You can't separate out the return skills from the cover skills. They are a package deal with TM. An his earlier struggles have proven to be just that. He's doing well and seems to be a better all-around CB than the others taken ahead of him. And he'll only get better, having played at a small school in college.
TigerJ Posted December 23, 2004 Posted December 23, 2004 Wilson has been a productive starting free safety for the Patriots for two seasons now. That's not a bad result.
