PromoTheRobot
Tim Graham - Rex Ryan pretty much confirmed Aaron Maybin will be named a captain against the Bills on Sunday. Standard practice for Rex, but I'm sure Bills on sidelines will be shaking their heads when Maybin strolls out for the coin flip How do you explain making some guy you found in a dumpster a team captain after a couple weeks, unless you think you are somehow sticking it to the Bills by doing so? Total dickface move, Rex. Total dickface. But PLEASE do it, Rex. Like the Bills need any more incentive to kick your asses. Thunderstealer
The more I think about it, the more I believe this game is going to be a rout for Buffalo and the beginning of the end for the spoiled son.
CosmicBills
I'd do it if I were Ryan.

RuntheDamnBall
Every single player on this roster knows they are more suited for football than Aaron Maybin was when he was on this team. Rex Ryan cut the dude this season, for Chrissakes.
CosmicBills
But, you are not. I know. I can still see my feet. Or his wife's. Okay ... I just threw up in my mouth a bit.

It's not a slight against the Bills in reality (and I'm sure Rex knows this) but it's a harmless gesture for Rex. Best case scenario he fires up Maybin and rattles the Bills (which won't happen). Worst case scenario, Maybin tries to tackle the ref during the coin toss but gets stiff-armed by a 50 year old man. Maury Ballstein
Well Mr. Maybin will meet Mr McIntyre and get put on his arse.....Not a big deal at all....Let him be a capt. Rex loves this stuff.
Simon
I hope Rex keeps trying to be cute and runs Maybin inside on a twist where he then meets Corey McIntyre about halfway home.

BillsVet
Symbolism over substance. Which unit is he going to be captain for, the bench warmers? Is that after the special team's captain and is Rex getting a special assist from the league to do it?
r00tabaga
We should eliminate a captain to symbolize the loss of the great Kent Hull for this game. It could fire our guys up and pay tribute to a true Buffalo hero!
truth on hold
To me it just highlights the absence of OLB Bryan Thomas whose on IR and the reason maybin is expected to see more time. Given Thomas was jets sack leader last year and outweighs maybin by a much as 40 lbs, I'm much happier with hairston or levitre lining up against maybin. boyst
After reading the entire thread of the Gang Green site I hope we kill these scumbags. It also really makes me appreciate SDS. That site is full of trash and hypocracy. Trashing WhySoSerious for coming in to talk against them when at the top of their site there is a link to the BillsZone to talk trash to us...wow. Jersey puke.

aristocrat
so who remembers when levitre called out maybin in practice and told him to "give all that money back you ain't earned"? Our o line is gonna be pushing that def line back and freddy will run wild. bring on the motivation.
