artmalibu Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 All I know is when you have TWO pro bowl caliber DT's on your team you dont run a 3-4. 4-3 with a sharp eye to the draft on a pass rushing 4-3 defensive end would be the best situation......then you draft linebackers and secondary accordingly Well said!! With 2 great tackles we dont need as many lbs, which we are short at anyways..
truth on hold Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I think packers have it best with a lot of flexibility and will have anywhere from 2 to 5 line up with hand down. Bills have flexible players so maybe we can make that work too. I don't think kw and md are perfect compliments as 4-3 dts. 2 Kyle one gap penetrators would be. If md can handle 3-4 NT responsibility like a ngata, that's our best base option This does leave kw (last years darling) as kind of the odd man out. But with his foot who knows what hes doing this year and beyond anyway.
r00tabaga Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) Steelers and Ravens are 1&2 in the Def rankings, however Cincy, Chicago, Jax, Detroit & Cleveland make up the other top D's and they are just fine with their 4-3 schemes! Edited November 4, 2011 by r00tabaga
