kota Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Nix has said in the past that he won't sign big name free agents and would rather spend the money on players that perform. Fred fits that category. I would expect a 2-3 year extension between 15-20 million dollars most guaranteed.

Fred fits that category. I would expect a 2-3 year extension between 15-20 million dollars most guaranteed. I'm a proponent of Fred getting a raise because he has considerably outperformed his current contract and he has been a class act about it. He should be paid commensurate with a top 10 (even top 5) back. 2-3 years, north of 20 million, most guaranteed - and without hesitation.
