dwight in philly Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I hope the Jets aren't wearing white too.
FluffHead Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 How about the pink pants to match the shoes? that's a fantastic idea, but October is over. Maybe next year.
dollars 2 donuts Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 They shouldn't do this. It is well past Labor Day. I love this.
truth on hold Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 that's a fantastic idea, but October is over. Maybe next year. Yeah but I think it would look stunning with lemon chiffon name and number accents
taglientep Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 i think the fans should all wear white like they do at penn state and make a white out for the Jets! White out Wipe out. Thoughts?
FluffHead Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 i think the fans should all wear white like they do at penn state and make a white out for the Jets! White out Wipe out. Thoughts? I'm wearing zubaz. This is not up for reconsideration.
taglientep Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I'm wearing zubaz. This is not up for reconsideration. HAHAHA YESS!!! I will be wearing mine. but a white top with the Zubaz!
billsfreak Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Russ Brandon tweeted bills will wear white at home this weekend. First time in 25 years. Why? Not a big fan of the road whites. Love the new home uni's but IMO there is too much white in the Road Uni's. Russ Brandon tweeted bills will wear white at home this weekend. First time in 25 years.
IDBillzFan Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 They shouldn't do this. It is well past Labor Day. [/thread]
Just Jack Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Must be overstocked with whites in the Bills Store and need to clear them out for the Red, Green, and White Christmas jerseys.
dwight in philly Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Seems kind of crazy. Sometimes players are really superstitious... Messin' with the MoJo. i kinda feel the same way, why mess with it now? the biggest game in what seems like forever and they are screwing with karma, mojo, whatever.
BRH Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 (edited) I really loved the white home unis during the SB years. Except we only wore them when we played Miami. Come to think of it, I loved them too. We had a pretty good record in them at home as I recall. Edited November 2, 2011 by BRH
AxelRipper Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Maybe trying to get some momentum rolling in the whites for the long road stretches that are coming up in the 2nd half of the season?
Just in Atlanta Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Agree. Seems totally random and senseless. As long as they never don the previous unis, I won't complain though.
jofalfa Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I wonder if the Jets want to wear those nasty retros.
nucci Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Except we only wore them when we played Miami. Come to think of it, I loved them too. We had a pretty good record in them at home as I recall. Marv's teams always wore blue at home....never wore the whites.
sullim4 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 It's likely due to the fact that the Bills will be wearing blue on the road in Dallas. Brandon likely wants equal time in each uni for marketing purposes.
NickelCity Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 The "well past Labor Day" comment takes the cake. Not sure I like this move.
MRM33064 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 How can we let ourselves wear white? As fans, I don't think there's a lot of mystery behind whether we've been *#*$#$ yet or not. That said, the timing is odd, and does beg the question - why even raise the prospect of tinkering with this great run?
