BF_in_Indiana Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Of the big three that were drafted this year Lee Evans stacks up nicely. Roy Williams: 47 catches, 722 yards, 7 TD's Larry Fitzgerald: 51 catches, 674 yards, 6 TD's Lee Evans: 38 catches, 688 yards, 7 TD's He's coming along nicely.
CJPearl2 Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 You didn't include Clayton of Tampa: 15th pick overall, 74, 1041, 4
MadBuffaloDisease Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Evans with 18.1 YPC and 7 TD's is just insane! And he wasn't even a big part of the offense initially.
BF_in_Indiana Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 You didn't include Clayton of Tampa: 15th pick overall, 74, 1041, 4 174395 Yeah I didn't even think about him. Those are some great numbers he is putting up.
ROCCEO Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Yeah I didn't even think about him. RastaMouse Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 You didn't include Clayton of Tampa: 15th pick overall, 74, 1041, 4 174395 And to do this in Tampa where they've never really been known as a passing offense and with suspect quarterback play - nice job. Evans is still a great fit for us and will most undoubtedly develop into a top 10 wr before all is said and done. Josh Reed, on the other hand, will be hard pressed to retain his job next year.
ROCCEO Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 This is true, but I would hesitate to say that Clayton is having a beter year than Evans if you factor in the amount of PT each was getting in teh first few weeks. Also i dont think a single person on this board(or most experts for that matter) would say they thought Clayton will be a superior reciever.

ROCCEO Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 He's definately this year's Bolden. 174451 by that do you mean, "garbage time god"?
BF_in_Indiana Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 by that do you mean, "garbage time god"? 174452 Well he was great last year and has had a few injury problems this year. I don't know if I would refer to him like that.
