T master Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Man for all of us (including myself) that were thinking that letting go of Lynch may have been a big mistake SHAME ON US !!!!! Sure i will agree that we could have used the draft pick a bit better but it is one of the best things that have happened to this team !! By letting Lynch go it allowed the new coaching staff along with every one else to finally realize that Fred Jackson is all that & a bag of chips !! I hope that they reward him with a contract fitting his out put & don't screw up !! And if Fred can show Spiller a thing or 2 while Fred is on a roll then all the better for the Bills !!! Go Bills !!!!!

SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I'll also admit that I was wrong about Marshawn being better than Freddie. People on this board would insist that Freddie was simply better at finding and hitting holes and I didn't believe. Shows what I know.
Buftex Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I still like Lynch...even if Freddie is better...who's up next, after CJ, is it Johnny White?
Forward Progress Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I'm feeling pretty good about this trade right now, since we picked up Hairston with our 4th round pick from the Seagulls. Hairston has looked pretty good when he's been able to play. Let's see if Nix can do it again with the pick from the Evans trade.
Dorkington Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I'm sorry, who's Lee Evans? Pre-injuries, I wasn't missing him... but now that we are down so many... I miss him.
The Big Cat Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Pre-injuries, I wasn't missing him... but now that we are down so many... I miss him. Evans has been injured since week 2. So, yeah.
VADC Bills Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 (edited) Donte who? Poz who? Aaron who? Last year clearly seemed to be an year of evaluation. Chan and Buddy practically gave away the first four games figuring out that Fitz and FJ were better than Capt Checkdown and Beastmode. Lets face it losing Poz, Donte, Maybin, Trent, and Marshawn was clearly addition by subtraction for us. I don't think we have made up the slack for Evans yet. Edited November 1, 2011 by VADC Bills

greenmohawk Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Marshawn Cheeseburger. The fat RB that averaged 3 yards a carry.
jr1 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Marshawn was always a threat to end up on an episode of COPS
#34fan Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Yah. Can't believe how stressed-out some of us were, over all the guys we offloaded. Seemingly, Chan made some good decisions.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I was critic #1 of Lynch. Every time I saw Jackson, I just thought down hill runner. Every time I saw Lynch, I saw dancer. Lynch is a good, fun-loving guy, but I never liked his running style.

Bills!Win! Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 i know we traded away lynch for a pick. who did we end up drafting in that pick?
Realist Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 i know we traded away lynch for a pick. who did we end up drafting in that pick? I believe its answered above. It was Hairston.
nemhoff Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Marshawn was always a threat to end up on an episode of COPS That was great...so true
