Mr. WEO Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Big market teams bring money for the NFL which pays the refs. They are ensuring their paycheck. That overturning INT call was pushing it. But who cares about the outcry from small market nobodies You need help, brother. good thread, but you forgot to mention the Freddy fly that was a non-call with the DB all over his back... But it's a typical Hoculli head ref game... He WILL NOT call a game that favors our Bills for whatever reason his small mind reasons... Anyone else remember the ridiculous calls in the Cinci game??? Remember who the head ref was??? DING-DING!!!! No, ding dong, the Cincy crew was headed by Steratore, not Hochuli.
KD in CA Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Ref apologist, I take it? Edit: haha, nevermind, I just saw that you were the author of the worst post in this thread. Yes, that's it. I'm a "ref apologist". Make sure you keep those homer-colored glasses firmly in place so you can sound more convincing as you continue your shrill whining about phantom ref conspiracies.

Make sure you keep those homer-colored glasses firmly in place so you can sound more convincing as you continue your shrill whining about phantom ref conspiracies. yet another strawman argument. Where did I mention anything about "ref conspiracies"? make more **** up, OK? If you didn't see Burress push off on the pass to the 1 yard line, then, no offense, you're as dumb as you sound.
CardinalScotts Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Reffing was pathetic. Coaching was even worse. agreed Coaching and playing was worse but they sucked. They suck every single week not just our games - it's a pathetic embarrassing effort. Just the phrase indisputable....every thing can be disputed. It's the guys who call pass interference with no consistency that end up affecting games. What they call and then don't then do again then don't- it screws up with the outcome of games every week. (I'm not saying the Bills game today) They are old, very old, and overweight but they are gonna run with world class athletes ? Ha no they aren't so they are left to guess
Thunderstealer Posted November 6, 2011 Posted November 6, 2011 Well this weeks game against the Jets should test the NFL big market conspiracy. The question is: What tactic will be used to bring the Jets back into the race? Will we see blatantly bad calls or just opportune game changing holding or false start calls against the Bills. Maybe the no calls against the Jests technic or the famous pass interferance hail mary call. FOOD FOR THOUGHT........just sayin.... If anything the officials kept Buffalo in the game.
KD in CA Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 yet another strawman argument. Where did I mention anything about "ref conspiracies"? make more **** up, OK? If you didn't see Burress push off on the pass to the 1 yard line, then, no offense, you're as dumb as you sound. This is coming from the idiot calling people "ref apologist"? Keep crying, it's amusing.
bbb Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 If anything the officials kept Buffalo in the game. How do you figure that? The McKelvin interference call was uncatchable and probably not even interference. Plaxico pushed off earlier to set up the first TD. Those are 14 points the refs handed them.
bills44 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 This is coming from the idiot calling people "ref apologist"? Keep crying, it's amusing. If the shoe fits... Still looking for my posts about the "ref conspiracies"? Keep looking, liar.

McGee looked surprised when he got the one called for him early on.
PO'14 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Refs didnt help us, Defensive line got OWNED, Offensive line got OWNED, Brad Smith sucks, and Terence Mcgee got OWNED today! I havent talked about the coaching yet! QUARTERBACK SNEAK ASHHOLES!
bbb Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 There was the huge run the Jets had ...those push offs rarely get called against the receiver. McGee looked surprised when he got the one called for him early on. That was more than a hold on that run. He tackled him!.........The obvious push offs get called and the Plaxico one was plain as day. And, McKelvin's interference, if it was interference, was not even close to being catchable. It was in my corner, and it was clear to everybody there.
Chef Jim Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Yeah, the refs are out to get us. From the NFL.com comment section from the Pats/Giants game. ALL GIANTS AND THEIR FANS ARE BALL LICKING F=A=G=S.!!!!How much Did You Pay the REFS for those Lousy Calls Today.!!!

Another official was showing him where he was wrong, after the extra point. Right in front of us.

Plaxico pushed off earlier to set up the first TD. Those are 14 points the refs handed them. Just saw the replays and will admit both were awful calls. Especially considering it was the same guy making both. That said, I've never seen a penalty put points on the board.
r00tabaga Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 (edited) Start taking money away from these refs. Fine them for bad plays. NBC just had a whole segment devoted to the back judge in our game today. Rodney and Dungy were laughing at how poor that ref handled the PI on Plax & against Leodis! We lost but c'mon, the game was 6 pts at that point in the 3rd. Huge plays that were clearly inconsistent! Edited November 7, 2011 by r00tabaga

But what does Dungy know about football? I'd love to see the refs available for questions immediately after the game, without having had the chance to conference with NFL officials.
CardinalScotts Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Thank you. Does not make it okay in any way your a paid professional if you can't do the job don't go out there. On NBC's football night in America the showed the Bills/Jets highlights. This is a group that won't question much especially Dungy. Patrick called the pass interference calls (plural) sketchy at best. Dungy called them wrong and terrible then even Harrison jumps in the McKelvin pass interference the ball was uncatchable the Plax was just bad. This group again is anything nut put it on the official so for them to mention it and ALL THREE including Dungy show me and should show you those calls were terrible and decided the game. Not my opinion but rather three guys on NBC
r00tabaga Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 (edited) It's league wide. Every game has bad calls this year. Normally I only notice them in Bills games but this year has been really bad. I think there is clearly no conspiracy, just poor officiating in general. Edited November 7, 2011 by r00tabaga
