Simon Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 First down!!! Guten Nacht New England....
gobillsinytown Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 So now I'm confused....it is a safety and is it reviewable? Simms seems pretty confused himself
truth on hold Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Not smart by troy punching the ball forward. No matter who falls on it game would have been over with not enough time left to get off another play. Punching it forward should have been a penalty which gave pats another play.

Simms seems pretty confused himself Best I understand it, Polamalu's "punching of the ball" was a penalty, but the refs can't factor that in on review -- even though it was blatant. They were reviewing whether or not it was recovered inbounds, I think.

The rule only applies to the offense.
Reddy Freddy Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Always good to see Pats lose, but this game could end up hurting us at the end of the year if we're fighting for a Wild Card.
NickelCity Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I think the Steelers take their division and we fight with the ravens. I hope cinci drops off eventually...
