Captain Hindsight Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 How could we pass on Clausen? Twice!
Billshank Redemption Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 i don't like it. he's a mediocre qb. a 3 year 30 million would be best but we still need to look a qbs to find our true franchise quarterback that being said its good to see them actually signing people before they hit f.a
BillnutinHouston Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) Further evidence that RALPH IS CHEAP! One way of looking at this: the one regular season game in Toronto each year pays for Fitz's new contract. Edited October 28, 2011 by BillnutinHouston

PromoTheRobot Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) That is for all intents and purposes what this is, amirite? Cue the "we overpaid Fitz" rants. I believe that will be Sully's next column PTR Edited October 28, 2011 by PromoTheRobot
cage Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Isn't that where Marv went? What are the odds? Is that response for real?? Its not a coincidence... he was brought in by Marv when he was GM because he noticed him from following Coe College is alma mater. I hope that was a joke response at this point?!?

I actually thought Stevie Johnson should've been the first priority of the three. It's becoming clear that Gaiey is a genius and can make any QB look good. I love Fitzpatrick as a leader, but for those of you keeping track at home, he's now had three pretty mediocre/pedestrian games in a row (#'s in Philly game are misleading, he wasn't taking any chances). NickelCity Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Oh boy. I'll second that. I hope we hear about Stevie then Fred this season. Who knows how long it'll take though.
John from Riverside Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 So he only cost on the average 9 million Sweeet
CBD Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 That is for all intents and purposes what this is, amirite? That's how I'm reading it, he's getting $10M this year in the form of a signing bonus, then $33M over the first three years. Leaving $16M for the final 3, right?
Fan in San Diego Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Freddie Mac? Good licks Freddie Mac = Fred Jackson

Heck they may take a 3 for 10 deal at this point, then you can hope the cards fall right and we get the 2nd or 3rd best QB in this years class (which we would have to tank from here on out to even have a shot at).

Why Steve Johnson first? That doesn't make a bit of sense to me.
richNjoisy Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 This is really gonna piss Freddy off big time! GO BILLS!!! No it won't. he KNEW Fitz was the top priority. Now, they SHOULD start to talk to him and then Stevie......
The Wiz Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Who is Fitzpatrick? I thought his name was Fitzgerald. ESPN is really confusing me.
MaineMoxie Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Isn't that where Marv went? What are the odds? Fox's Curt Menefee went there too. Three's a little unusual for a Div III school most people haven't heard of.
nucci Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Good. Fix more holes in the draft, get a QB prospect in the draft each year, play it smart. ??
