aristocrat Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Dareus seems to be getting better as the year goes on. Would love to see him continue that and he could be in the conversation by the end of the year.
boyst Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 It better not be Cam Newton, especially if Dalton keeps destroying him where it counts - wins - on a much worse team.

Carolina lost their only really good defensive player and their 3rd best defensive player, both in week 1. Cincis defense is good. Carolina's is terrible. You're not only exaggerating, but you're completely wrong.

NewEra Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 They have Aj green, who's a better player than EVERY player on the Carolina offense, minus newton. They also have Jermane Gresham, another good player, that has potential to be great. You're talking about offense, like the defense has nothing to do with wins and losses. Get a grip. The bengals aren't better than Carolina because dalton is better than newton. They're better because they have a better defense and possibly because they don't have a rookie HC. Please don't say that dalton is better than newton because dalton is winning with LESS than newton. That simply, is not true. It's a lie.

San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Farmer, Cincinnati is 2nd in the league in defense. Cinci weapons: One of the best young O-lines in football. Bruising running back Cedric Benson. Elite WR talent AJ Green. Outstanding young TE Jermaine Gresham. Good offensive depth players. Dalton's team is much better than Newton's, IMO. It's funny to me that many people here view the Bills loss at Cinci as some sort of failure by the Bills… as if we're gonna go on the road and beat good football teams every week.

You left out the fact that Cincy has what is probably a better than average offensive line. Farmer, Cincinnati is 2nd in the league in defense. You will hate hearing this, but we agree 100% on the above. Go ahead and edit.
VADC Bills Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 (edited) It better not be Cam Newton, especially if Dalton keeps destroying him where it counts - wins - on a much worse team. Make no mistake Cam is clearly the better QB on a worse team. In fact take away a tuck rule and a few other bad calls, Dalton's record would be a little different. Just because you may hate Newton, lets not falsely justify Dalton being better. Farmer, Cincinnati is 2nd in the league in defense. Cinci weapons: One of the best young O-lines in football. The only fault I see of the Bills in this loss was the absence of the blitz. Rookie QB's should get blitzed...period. Our defensive coordinator(s) should have given him the Mike Vick treatment. Our defense played up against Brady and Vick. I'm noticing our defense tends to play down or with less intensity with lesser QB's Edited October 22, 2011 by VADC Bills
