The AntiFin Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 It has to do with Harrison's injury(injuries), nothing to do with botched paperwork. Just reported as such on ESPN. Allegedly a brain tumor. Wow. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7127181/jerome-harrison-tumor-which-voided-detroit-lions-philadelphia-eagles-trade-source-says
webtoe Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 They say the trade may have actually saved his life, because without it, he would not have had to get a physical and the tumor would have gone undiscovered.
NoSaint Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Weird. Didn't the eagles have another guy with brain tumors this preseason? That means last year they had 2 guys on the 53 with them? Statistically strange.
stony Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Stony, I am thinking the same way as well....and I am also seeing improvement in Spillers running game even though he didnt do it last week..... LOVED how in the Eagles game he threw that violent stiffarm to a would be tackler and picked up more yards....NOTHING tentative about that move. If there is a silver lining in this...CJ Spiller wont have a lot of mileage on him because of Fred Jackson's productivity.....I would like to give Freddy a extension and then after this year slowley work CJ into a more balanced rotation. I actually really felt that against the Giants CJ would have had a good running game because the Giants looked slow to me off the edges.....but oh well Couldn't agree more. For a young man's position we might have some older backs be our primary contributors the next few years.
