BillsObserver Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Troup is not 100%. That leaves Kellen Heard. Could we see the activation of Michael Jasper? PTR Better hope not. To be clear, he was absolutely awful at the DT position. Don't care how much you like him, there's no denying how brutal he was at DT.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 (edited) Jasper was moved to offensive guard unless he the Bills reversed that decision That's what was reported but who knows what they work on in practice. He played the entire pre-season at NT. Better hope not. To be clear, he was absolutely awful at the DT position. Don't care how much you like him, there's no denying how brutal he was at DT. I agree he didn't do very well, even against 3rd and 4th stringers. But who else do we have in the pipeline? PTR Edited October 20, 2011 by PromoTheRobot

He said, on his twitter account, that he's getting close. Count on Dareus, Troup and Heard (a bit scary, I know).

I am asking out of total ignorance.

Gray Beard Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Spencer Johnson would fill in Thanks for the answer. I forgot about him. He's not that bad. It makes me feel a little better to know that there is still somebody left on the depth chart.
Big Turk Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Yeah, it is hard to play when you can't push off of your heel...not surprised he hasn't looked like himself out there this year...
BillsObserver Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Yeah, it is hard to play when you can't push off of your heel...not surprised he hasn't looked like himself out there this year... Just imagine - if Kyle never had this lingering issue, it's entirely possible we win both of the games we lost. He's that important.. Get him healthy. Somehow, some way.

Get him healthy. Somehow, some way. He definitely hasn't been the same. Not to say he's playing poorly, but something hasn't been right.
bobobonators Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 these foot injuries can sometimes take forever to heal. this truly blows.
JTO Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I'm no doctor but that may mean that Kyle will need surgery to get the problem corrected. I hope that all he will require is a boot.
BiggieScooby Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 The Bills might be better off without Kyle Williams who has been hurt since training camp. The guy has 9 tackles in 5 games, and had 2 0 tackle games. He has a foot problem that will likely require a lot of offseason rest and possible surgery. I believe he has plantar fasciitis.
Since 1972 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Thank goodness the Bills are rarely injured:{
3rdnlng Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Good thing we signed him to that big extension! Funny how thes things have a way of surfacing as far more serious than previously thought once the check clears. Dumb, disengenuous and up to your usual standards.
dollars 2 donuts Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-bills-kylewilliams ugh... not good. Could not have said it better 5 Wide. THIS is the true obstacle right now in our playoff run. If they can get to 6-2 I think things look pretty good. ...if they stumble as a result of someone as important as Williams being out.
Thoner7 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 The Plantar Fascitus I know affects the bottom of the heel, forward to the arch of the foot. As far as I know, it doesnt affect the back of your heal, underneath the acchilles. From the comment about removing the back of KW's cleats, I would that PF would be ruled out (unless it can also affect the back fo your heal?)

It is being reported that it is bone spurs Williams is out with what is being described as a foot injury. Gailey acknowledged that Williams may not be 100 percent the rest of the year. Williams was walking around in a boot in the locker room. It's believed he has a bone spur that's affecting his Achilles tendon. Williams to miss two games
truth on hold Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Dumb, disengenuous and up to your usual standards. Keep living in your fantasy world where no one tries to position things in the most favorable light When big money is involved and where agents don't exist.
