5 Wide Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-bills-kylewilliams ugh... not good.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Troup is not 100%. That leaves Kellen Heard. Could we see the activation of Michael Jasper? PTR
AReed Deep For 7 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 He needs to sit his ass down until he is 100%.... not 90% not 97%, wait until he is completely healthy! In the mean time see what the young guys have.
billsfan89 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Not good at all that's over a month of inactivity for Kyle since the Eagle game. Troup needs to step in
tennesseeboy Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Definitely not good at all. Hope we have someone to come off the bench and surprise the hell out of us. Surprise the hell out of us favorably, that is.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 If it's something like turf toe, it could linger. I will say this--thought the run D wasn't too bad last week with Williams out. Guys stepped up. Bradshaw got his 100 yards, but I think it was on over 25 carries.
BuffaloBill Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Troup is not 100%. That leaves Kellen Heard. Could we see the activation of Michael Jasper? PTR Jasper was moved to offensive guard unless he the Bills reversed that decision
maryland-bills-fan Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Get him to 100%, rather than injure him for the rest of his career. Let the younger guys show what they have. Heard looks better than Troup or not too much different. We are not going with a traditional big big big NT approach. Forget about Jasper. They schemed with him, hide him as a NT and now have him stashed on the practice squad as a development project for offensive tackle.
QB Bills Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 No way to sugarcoat it, this is a huge blow to an already crappy defense. I knew there had to be something wrong with Williams. He was nothing like the player he had been the last couple of years. Hopefully he heals quickly enough for the playoff push...his presence could be the difference in making it or not.
QCity Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 "The injury is so severe, trainers had previously cut out holes in the back of Williams’ cleats to alleviate the pressure." WTF does he have??
marauderswr80 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 We can beat the skins without wiliams!!! Get the guy healthy for the long haul....
Bill from NYC Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 We can beat the skins without wiliams!!! Get the guy healthy for the long haul.... I am inclined to agree. A case could be made that taking all into consideration, KW was the best draft pick (in terms of being a steal) made by the Bills in more than a decade. SJ would enter into the conversation but it is harder to get big guys imo. I hope that they continue to draft linemen who can play on both sides of the line, along with a OLB who can provide pressure. If and when they do, the Buffalo Bills will be very serious contenders.
truth on hold Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Good thing we signed him to that big extension! Funny how thes things have a way of surfacing as far more serious than previously thought once the check clears.
The Poojer Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 big feet? "The injury is so severe, trainers had previously cut out holes in the back of Williams’ cleats to alleviate the pressure." WTF does he have??
CardinalScotts Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Good thing we signed him to that big extension! Funny how thes things have a way of surfacing as far more serious than previously thought once the check clears. among the dumbest things I've read on here. Ya the defensive tackle position is a lot like holder for field goals- no physical contact, hide from getting hit.
CSBill Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Good thing we signed him to that big extension! Funny how thes things have a way of surfacing as far more serious than previously thought once the check clears. Really ???
Hammered a Lot Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Pat Williams is looking for a job and he could clog the middle.
jwmann2 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 If it's something like turf toe, it could linger. I will say this--thought the run D wasn't too bad last week with Williams out. Guys stepped up. Bradshaw got his 100 yards, but I think it was on over 25 carries. Ahmad Bradshaw also had 3 Touchdowns. Not like the Bills contained him.
truth on hold Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 among the dumbest things I've read on here. Ya the defensive tackle position is a lot like holder for field goals- no physical contact, hide from getting hit. Foot injury was known in pre season before the contract extension. Severity only came out afterward
Fan in San Diego Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 "The injury is so severe, trainers had previously cut out holes in the back of Williams’ cleats to alleviate the pressure." WTF does he have?? Plantar Faciaitis? Spelling is propbably wrong.
