KollegeStudnet
Don't know which painful season that I am enjoying more: Redskins or Dolfins. Of course the Cowboys impending collapse will be right up there. I'm enjoying the Jets implosion...along with Broadway Joe's infamous tweets bashing the 2011 team and Rex! The Big Cat
Sure he had a great defense that helped them get there, but he started every game for the Bears the year they went to the Superbowl. We hear the cliche all the time that its a quarterback driven league,so you have to give him some of the credit for the team's accomplishments that year. Even if the defense was the anchor of that team, Grossman at the very least was the leader of the offense. You can't just throw that out the window to prove a point that the guy sucks (which I happen to agree with). My point is you can say he sucks and still give credit where it's due. The 2006 Bears made it to the Super Bowl in spite of Rex. It wasn't just the defense that continually bailed them out and scored points, it also happened to be the rookie season for one Devin Hester, and...well...we all know how that narrative has since played out. The first thing I think of when I hear the name John Beck: http://www.nfl.com/videos/buffalo-bills/09000d5d804ecca7/WK-14-Can-t-Miss-Play-Wilson-fumble-return Celebrating with G. Wilson after that play: Schobel, Ellison, Whitner and Digorgio.
Gray Beard
They need to blitz that bum early and often and from all angles. Who's this mysterious "they" team that successfully blitzes the quarterback?
RyanC883
He is terrible and jittery in the pocket. If we cannot sack and/or force this guy to turn the ball over Edwards should be fired on the spot. Also, there is a reason Moss lobbied for Grossman to remain the starter: he's better, much better. But for some reason Shanny wanted to start this guy all year so he can prove what a genius he is.
Malazan
I think he's going to start him because he's seen that he's got nothing in Grossman and may as well find out this season if he has anything in Beck.
