Hammered a Lot Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 So sad. The nicest, humblest Buffalo Bill that I ever met. Partied with him the night he retired. RIP Kent.
wnyBacker Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Wat a bummer. RIP. Kinda on a side note hull was a bulldozer in his day, and Eric wood has looked a lot like Kent this year. If wood is half of wat hull was at center then we will be set at that position for years.
KOKBILLS Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 OH NO! RIP Kent...No question one of the All Time great Buffalo Bills...
Chef Jim Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 http://blogs.clarion...-hull-has-died/ PTR From the comments: I played in his golf tourney a few months back and I can remember Jim Kelly from Miami and his partner in Buffalo saying he is going to be dead in a few months if he doesn't get back in some type of physical shape. I am stunned to hear this after hearing him say that to me... Yikes. RIP Big Guy.
Golden Wheels Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Hull was the lynchpin of the Bills offensive line. His role in the no-huddle offense was underrated, but his teammates know how valuable he was. This is sad news.
RTW2012 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Of course the all-time great Kent Hull story is that he signed with the Bills the same day Jim Kelly did. Jim was picked up at the airport by a limo and had a police escort. Kent followed in the back of an equipment van. RIP Kent.
Erik Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Rest in Peace Kent...you were the K-Gun http://evonsports.wordpress.com/2011/10/18/kent-hull-passes-away-at-51/
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 Man this is so sad. It's funny because I don't usually feel like I actually lost someone important when athletes die. Probably because this is one of the first sports figures I watched for a long time that has passed. Rest in Piece Kent.
vincec Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 What!!?!? Shocking news. RIP. This really makes me feel old... like a classmate dying or something.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 My grandfather worked for the team in the 80's. i remember meeting Kent in 86 as a rookie. He was massive to me. But was very gracious to us kids. Later i went to Jim Kelly's first ever football camp. As an olineman myself Kent worked with us kids along with Jim Richter, two extremely nice guys. Very sad to see guys you looked up to and loved to watch play them game pass. Lots of good football men passing this month!
BillsPride12 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 RIP Kent. You will always be in the hearts of the Bills Nation
Big Turk Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 RIP Kent...you were one of the great ones...
kande87 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 RIP to one of the greats! Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas and James Lofton owe a lot of their success to him! We lost a great one today, forever a Buffalo Bill!!
BobbyC81 Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 OH NO! RIP Kent...No question one of the All Time great Buffalo Bills... Did they ever put him on the Wall at the Ralph?
