San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 (edited) Niners for real. They beat Cinci so we knew they're pretty good. Now beating the Lions in Detroit… LOVE Aldon Smith… outshining Robert Quinn as I expected. Edited October 16, 2011 by San Jose Bills Fan
Max997 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Lions were due for a letdown game especially after the big Monday night win vs bears
bills44 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 haha...Harbaugh & Schwartz get into it. 2 meatheaded morons...
Just Jack Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Saw the replay of the after game extra activities between the coaches. Wonder if the NFL will send down some fines.
Simon Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 haha...Harbaugh & Schwartz get into it. 2 meatheaded morons... Damn, I missed it. I hope he punched Schwartz in his fat mouth.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Could Harbaugh's backslap fairly be attributed to jubilation over winning? Or was it a bit of a punk move?
bills44 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 it was quite funny, Harbaugh appeared to have screamed after he shook hands with Schwartz. Schwartz said something, ran after Harbaugh and bumped him. They had to be separated - looked like a SF player (Anthiny Davis, maybe?) grabbed Schwartz
TheBrownBear Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 this is the nfl. Almost anyone can hang with anyone from week to week. That's why coaching is so important. You see it with the niners and harbaugh and you see it with the bills and gailey.
ofiba Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Could Harbaugh's backslap fairly be attributed to jubilation over winning? Or was it a bit of a punk move? I think it was definitely both. He was obviously pumped about the victory, but you've got to take it down a notch when shaking hands with the opposing coach. Harbaugh was basically screaming "YEAH, we just beat you!" Not very classy.

Not very classy. It's in a grey area but I agree with you. You have to act appropriately to every situation in life… especially a coach's handshake.

Not very classy. Schwartz has been acting like a bit of an asshat at the end of wins this year; I wonder if Harbaugh was kind of mocking him and Schwartz didn't care for his own medicine. Hey Jim, if you don't like it, don't do it.
The Senator Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 (edited) We could all use a light moment after today's game... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrqBDdFn4V0 Edited October 16, 2011 by The Senator
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Very lame by both guys, but especially Harbaugh. You really need to run and jump around when you're shaking the losing coach's hand? Give me a break.
JimBob2232 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Wow. Both those guys were wrong. Harbaugh...shake his hand, congratulate him for a hard-fought battle...and go into the locker room. Schwartz, dont chase him down and start a brawl. Walk back to your locker room, hold your head up in knowing you are a better man than he is. Ugly event for both coaches.
Bob in STL Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Very lame by both guys, but especially Harbaugh. You really need to run and jump around when you're shaking the losing coach's hand? Give me a break. Harbaugh is an azz. This will not be the only time this happens.
Max997 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Harbaugh acted like a dbag...Schwartz should have punched him in the face, we know buddy would have
Marv Levy Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I do like Harbaugh, but that classless move knocked him down a notch in my book. Unprofessional.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Schwartz has been acting like a bit of an asshat at the end of wins this year; I wonder if Harbaugh was kind of mocking him and Schwartz didn't care for his own medicine. Hey Jim, if you don't like it, don't do it. You know, that's true too now that you mention it. He's a bit too smiley and full of himself. Like I said earlier it's a bit of a grey area… maybe this was Schwartz' karma?
