For some reason I was thinking about the Sabres team colors and why the heck they ever decided to change them back in the 1990's to red, black, and gray... Then back to the original. Is there any other team in major sports that use the "Cub Scout" colors of "Blue and Gold?"

All I can think of is Notre Dame and maybe Navy... And they don't really use the "yellower" gold... I think they use a metallic? What other teams use this classically appealing combination? Now with the classic logo... What have we been missing the last decade or so!

The San Diego Chargers and Kansas City Royals are the first 2 that popped into my head.

:wallbash: :wallbash: How can I forget the Chargers! :wallbash: :wallbash: Aren't the Royals Blue and white?

I think you're right about the Royals uniforms, I was thinking about their logo with the gold crown on the top.

I am still reeling about not thinking of the Chargers... Man, they even had the blue helmet (Dan Fouts) for some years!
