There's a downtown, there's a mall, there's good restaurants. There are no beaches."

SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 If Steve "Rap" Johnson doesn't like the cold, what does it say that he's only getting 4 catches and 29 yards in the biggest game of the season and it's WARM??? This is marshawn 2.0, how long until johnson is arrested? If he wants miami culture, go to miami, we'll keep respectable guys like fitz, wood and chandler.

Just my attempt at a little parody. Stevie's my favorite Bill.
deep2evans Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Just my attempt at a little parody. Stevie's my favorite Bill. lol thank god - i take it all back then. i was pretty rattled there for a minute. it's unfortunate that some people actually have that mindset though.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Great interview. Anyone else disturbed by this?: "Ryan invited a bunch of us out to his place in the mountains in Arizona to just hang out. We were all riding the trucks up in the mountains and Freddy [Jackson] ended up popping a tire and we flipped."

Sadly enough, the 'Steve "Rap" Johnson' thing was inspired by real events from the shoutbox last week.

In all the interviews I've heard or read, Stevie has never sounded like Marshawn 2.0. Stevie seems like a good teammate. Not a lot of ego. He seems genuinely happy when Namaan or another receiver makes plays and gets attention.

benderbender Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I am amazed that Stevie is able to keep himself relatively humble. Here's hoping he doesn't turn to the darkside
Mr. ChumChums Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Great interview. Anyone else disturbed by this?: "Ryan invited a bunch of us out to his place in the mountains in Arizona to just hang out. We were all riding the trucks up in the mountains and Freddy [Jackson] ended up popping a tire and we flipped." I read it more as they flipped out, not flipped over. But if the 2nd is what happened, then yes, because that would mean we almost lost our entire offense.

I still read it as they flipped the truck, which would be as bad as it gets.
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Eh if they flipped it hopefully the chalk it up as a learning experience and don't make more bad decisions. I really like Steve and wish him the best. He is developing into a star and can give us some good publicity
