MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The NCAA said it found no major violations committed by Auburn regarding Cam Newton or other pay-for-play allegations and has concluded multiple investigations of the program.

The NCAA released a statement Wednesday saying it has closed its 13-month investigation into Auburn's recruitment of the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, whose father shopped his services to another school for nearly $200,000.

Ya and OJ was "proven" innocent.

I'm not saying there really was anything wrong but it wouldnt surprise me. They just vacated a national Championship and Heisman from Reggie Bush. I doubt they would want that to happen again so soon

The notion that Newton had no idea that his father was shopping him remains the most ridiculous claim in the whole story of Cam Newton. There is absolutely nothing believable about it.

But it ultimately falls under the "who really cares--it's college football" and I like seeing Newton prove so many experts wrong.
