timstep Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I don't post much as I'm mostly a reader, but wanted to let everyone know I recently posted some Bills songs on my website that you can download in MP3 format. I found these on an unmarked cassette, which I converted on my computer. The sound quality is average, I'm guessing they're from somewhere in the '88-90 years. I'm sure somone else has these, but I don't know if they ever came out on cd for easy digitizing. There is at least one song I'm missing, Leon "Dr. Sack" Seals put out a cassingle (cassette single) rap. I used to have it, but five or six housing moves since the early 90s and I seem to have lost it. If anyone has that I'd love to post it as well. Here's the link to my website with the MP3s, enjoy: Bills Songs
DrDawkinstein Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Ha! I had these on tape too! The songs I always remembered were "Taking Care of Pittsburgh" and "RESPECT Jim Kelly pass to Andre Reed" Thanks!!
earlofbud Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 These are great! I remember as a kid waiting every Monday (I think) morning before school for oldies 104 to play the new song of the week. While now it seems a little bizarre to hear a song namecheck Derrick Burroughs or Flip Johnson, I cannot stop listening. Thanks.
BiggieScooby Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) Rock on wit cha bad self! Let’s Go Buffalo song, that is a masterpiece! Dude I'm putting this #1 in the iPod. Edited October 11, 2011 by BiggieScooby

Mike In Illinois Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Just a small correction in your article, the Wild Card game @ Tennessee was dubbed the "Music City Miracle". The Motor City is a nickname for Detroit.
