erynthered Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Still, I think some of you could pull this off. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/10-000-free-round-trip-tickets-japan-134142507.html
KD in CA Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I'd rather go the Brady Quinn route: pay for my own flight and get to sleep with Alicia Sacramone when I get there.

Chef Jim Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 If I could get the time off I do it in a second.
BuffaloBill Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 If I could get the time off I do it in a second. Many here will be prepared to offer you advice on what to see and do if you can manage the time off.
Chef Jim Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Many here will be prepared to offer you advice on what to see and do if you can manage the time off. Thanks for the advice about me getting advice from posters but seeing I cannot get the time off of work your advice about seeking advice from other posters is advice that I not only don't need but can't use.
Assquatch Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 (edited) If I could get the time off I do it in a second. The Japan thing or the Alicia Sacramone thing? Edited October 11, 2011 by Assquatch
Doc Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 You have to pay for food and lodging, which are ungodly expensive over there. Not exactly a "free trip," but rather just a free flight. Pass.
Pete Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 You have to pay for food and lodging, which are ungodly expensive over there. Not exactly a "free trip," but rather just a free flight. Pass. A free $1200+ flight. Hostels and shacking up, backpacking !@#$ yeah! Sign me up
Chef Jim Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 A free $1200+ flight. Hostels and shacking up, backpacking !@#$ yeah! Sign me up No thanks. First class hotels and the best sushi in the world. Hostels....
Doc Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 A free $1200+ flight. Hostels and shacking up, backpacking !@#$ yeah! Sign me up Did you ever see the movie "Hostel?"
Pete Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Did you ever see the movie "Hostel?" yes. And I have also stayed in a hostel, me and 9 girls. Nothing like waking up with 9 pretty girls getting ready in the morning all around you
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 yes. And I have also stayed in a hostel, me and 9 girls. Nothing like waking up with 9 pretty girls getting ready in the morning all around you Getting ready for turning tricks? No.
BuffaloBill Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Thanks for the advice about me getting advice from posters but seeing I cannot get the time off of work your advice about seeking advice from other posters is advice that I not only don't need but can't use. My advice is that you seek an advisor to help you with your advice issues. Perhps s/he would offer advice that you might find to be insightful if not sound. You may need to get advice on how to select an advice advisor as it is hard to find a good one. Lousy advice advisors come a dime a dozen with many of them being participants in this thread for example. This is my advice for you. I'll PM you my invoice and you can call the 800 number listed for advice regarding the best method of payment.
KD in CA Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 yes. And I have also stayed in a hostel, me and 9 girls. Nothing like waking up with 9 pretty girls getting ready in the morning all around you I prefer one pretty girl waking up naked next to me.
Chef Jim Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I prefer one pretty girl waking up naked next to me than nine smelly hippy French chicks that don't know what a razor looks like and when you ask to borrow their soap they respond "pardon?" Bold part added for accuracy
