He was on the field with Brad Smith as he normally is, but several times (more and more as the game went on) he lined up in the first line of guys closest to the ball. Sometimes in the second line. The first time I noticed it was during the premature on side kick attempt, so I just assumed that Chan had sniffed that out. But if that was the case, why not have a "hands team" out there? All the other guys were the regulars. Makes me wonder if we are not setting up a reverse down the road sometime.

i hadnt noticed that, nice catch.

whether or not the bills ever intend on running a reverse or throwback play, it certainly opens up the return game.

if indeed this is a pattern, the opposition will have to account for the possibility, which takes at least one coverage person away from pursuing smith.

chan, you sly devil...

Interesting. I can't remember the last time I saw a KO return reverse (or fake reverse) work, though. At least not in the NFL. I wouldn't get too excited.
