MadBuffaloDisease Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 This is a guy I wanted the Bills to take in the 7th round: http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2004/showplay...=Isaac%20Hilton He's 6'3-3/8", 267#, and runs in the 4.4's! He's also strong as an ox and has excellent athleticism. He needs a little time to develop but could be worth it.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted August 31, 2004 Author Posted August 31, 2004 any relation to Paris? 12435[/snapback] Not "to" but with the way that chick gets around, possbly "with."
JimBob2232 Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 It seems to me this is a very odd cut, and there may be more than what meets the surface. Projected 3rd rounder, goes in the 7th...then gets cut during the first round of cuts. I wanted to take this guy as well. Perhaps give him a look, but its not looking promising for him right now.
Rayzer32 Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Did they happen to mention that he has long arms or very long arms????

It's not like the guy was a college LB'er or doesn't have size (he could probably add 10-15#), and his speed, strength, and athleticism are unreal. Like I said he seems like a project since he came from a lower level of competition, but he's be worth a shot. Who knows, maybe he missed a meeting and Coughlin cut him?
Typical TBD Guy Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 There's a reason why guys like Hilton, Jason Peters, and Antonio Brown fall to the final round or don't even get drafted: there's more to the sport of football than just pure athleticism.
TigerJ Posted August 31, 2004 Posted August 31, 2004 Sure, I'd want to take a look at him. We might not have any room on the active roster, but if no one else signs him, he might be more worthy of a spot on the practice squad than some of our own scrubs. Sign him to the PS, then send him to NFL Europe to get some training. That is undoubtably the root of his shortcomings. He's a small college guy and needs a little more seasoning.
