Pete Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 who the hell would of expected us to be 4-1 with wins against New England and Philly?
hondo in seattle Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Another game goes down to the final minute.
Dorkington Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Another lucky win... I'll take it! Heart attack city!
Slack_in_MA Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 My kids even knew that's what they were going to try to do. Yikes. BTW, has anyone heard when we're going to stop giving up so many freakin' yards?
truth on hold Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Whoooo. Now we can sit back and watch jets and pats beat the crap out of each other
ganesh Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 My kids even knew that's what they were going to try to do. Yikes. BTW, has anyone heard when we're going to stop giving up so many freakin' yards? I am concerned too...at least they made plays at the end of the game. The offense stunk up the joint in the 2nd half and was completely out of rhythm. I guess the eagles made their half-time adjustments and neutralized Jackson and gailey was not prepared to air it out and almost cost the game. Nelson and Chandler disappeared the 2nd half.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 who the hell would of expected us to be 4-1 with wins against New England and Philly? Me but loss to NE and win over Cincy.
Juror#8 Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 (edited) I'll never understand why when other teams facilitate turnovers they're ball-hawking, savy, experienced, and opportunistic. When Buffalo does similarly...it's luck. Drayton Florence pulling a unsecured ball from disoriented receiver isnt luck. A tipped ball by a player who is trained to do just that isn't luck. Byrd pulling the football from a WR isn't luck. These are calculated decisions. And they should be fairly considered as a demonstration of skill. It's almost as if there are no intangibles that go into a game...the only thing that matters is yardage gained and yardage allowed. Weird. Edited October 9, 2011 by Juror#8
SlamnSam Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 A win is a win! a win is not a win. I like to watch my team compete, not watch it fall apart to some punk QB and punk coach.
Chilly Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Really? You people are being negative after this win? rofl.
Nanker Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 I am concerned too...at least they made plays at the end of the game. The offense stunk up the joint in the 2nd half and was completely out of rhythm. I guess the eagles made their half-time adjustments and neutralized Jackson and gailey was not prepared to air it out and almost cost the game. Nelson and Chandler disappeared the 2nd half. Game plan obviously was to run, run, and run some more. And, when Jackson was winded, make him run again. Phily's DBs are not having a good year, but Chan wanted to grind this one out. It nearly cost him the game.
Tommy Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 I just wish Reggie Corner would stop getting burned....and that Donald Jones is healthy, because Ruvell Martin is not going to cut it.
Arkady Renko Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Donald Jones is in a walking boot and on crutches. Not good.
Roc Bronson Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 My kids even knew that's what they were going to try to do. Yikes. BTW, has anyone heard when we're going to stop giving up so many freakin' yards? I heard as soon as we get a DC that could utilize the talent he has or lack thereof. And if anyone disagree, just look at our offense/Gailey..
truth on hold Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Donald Jones is in a walking boot and on crutches. Not good. Terrible we can't survive Evans, Easley, Parrish and now jones gone
BuffaninATL Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 WOW, that's some luck. Luck ? I think not.....you create your own luck with timely, aggressive play..... We suck. How insightful & analytical....
