Rolled out of bed around 8 this morning to mosy up the block and watch the runners go by.

Damn right I rocked a Bills sweatshirt and at mile 9, in spite of the need to conserve energy, had about a dozen runners shout "GO BILLS!" "BUFFALO!" "NO ONE CIRCLES THOSE WAGONS!" and the like.

Side note, 90% of the shout outs were from females.

But the point is, that in a place and time when I've come out to support what could very well be the pinnacle of achievement for thousands of people from around the world, Bills pride runs so deep that those who I came to cheer for instead had the inclination, the visceral need--if you will--to cheer for their beloved Buffalo Bills in the split second they passed me.

Damn it's great being a Bills fan!
