Fitz played very good in the first three games, average to less than average in the fourth.

Before we annoint him greatness status, let's see how he plays against the Eagles and for the rest of the season.

To me, he's great because he's NOT tentative. He scans the field and makes decisions pretty quickly.

I don't think you'll catch him running out of bounds on 4th down with the game on the line :)

I believe you have lower expectations than some.

Ryan Fitzpatrick doesn't play football. He goes out and does whatever he wants.

The NFL invented itself to keep up

Roger Goodell asked Ryan Fitzpatrick if it was ok he come and watch the Bills Today

Amazing the short memory of those since the mighty trent edwards era. 199 yards passing for trent was usually an average performance. Except trent would have also most likely thrown a couple picks.

Not even exaggerating...199 yards for Trent would have been considered very good for him. His career yds/game number is 162.7.

Also...

Trent in 34 games as a Bill: 26 TD, 30 INT

Fitz in 27 games as a Bill: 41 TD, 28 INT

So who in your opinion is or was "great" ?

really? maybe a few QBs who have won championships, or maybe have won a playoff games or appeared in a probowl. I like Fitz but in my mind "greatness" means you're heading to canton
