/dev/null Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Anybody seen this yet? I DVR'd it but haven't had a chance to watch it.
DaGimp Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 i liked it creepy and a hot french maid playing with herself
Dr. Fong Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Show was excellent. A well-written show with some good performances from the actors. It definitely has me hooked. Best new show I've seen since Game of Thrones.
Fezmid Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Very creepy show, but not scary (yet?). Just disturbing... In a good way! The neighbor is REALLY creepy -- and I noticed that she stole a piece of silverware when she first visited the family.
cantankerous Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Very crazy how the wife sees the maid as old and wrinkly, and the husband sees her as a very young and horny woman. I'll watch this show over the current season of SOA. What garbage that show has been.
The Big Cat Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Just finished season one on Netflix streaming last night. Looking at the time stamps above, it seems this conversation petered out around episode five (not surprising). Curious to see how opinions changed/evolved, assuming you guys stayed with it till the end.

Not to say I didn't like the second season - I did! - but the first was better. I can't wait to see what season 3 will be like.

Had I known it came from the same creative pedigree as Glee and Nip/Tuck, I would have quit on it around episode 7. Not a lot of depth to what it evokes in its audience--much like the saccharine of Glee, it's all dread in AHS. I will watch season 2, but i'm not in a rush. Also quite curious as to which horror tropes they'll strip mine/belabor to death for season 3!
