SactoBillFan Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 (edited) When you put the words "tough" and "though" back to back and they don't even come close to rhyming, it illustrates what a crazy language we speak here in England. Hmmm it's going to be rough tough. Edited October 6, 2011 by SactoBillFan
Fan in San Diego Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 If our offense plays like it did last week, we will lose every game. How much of last week was the Bills playing poorly or the Bengals defense playing well and making us look poorly?

truth on hold Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Funny, I feel better about this game than I did before the Bengals. Bills by 4
DrFishfinder Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 If we contain Vick, we win. We didn't contain a rookie QB in only his 4th NFL game. And now Vick? Hoo boy. Someone on the D coaching staff had better come up with something. Vick may run for > 100 unless they do.

CardinalScotts Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 First we came out flat last week - everyone sorta knew it would happen. Had opportunities didn't happen and the officials didn't help. Now we return home in a must win against a team that isn't playing poorly they just aren't that good. Bills must win this game to get the swagger back. As for Philly offensive line is a mess...QB makes exciting plays, but poor decisions....on defense the LB's are below average and the safeties are brutal....they are also pressing which makes things worse. Secondly ESPN guys pick games off who has more superstars- they know the Eagles players don't know the Bills so that's what you get. Bills will win this game some what comfortably 31-21.
chaccof Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I think the Eagle's in a spot where this really is a season making/breaking game for them - but not for the Bills. I would expect that the Eagle's will play like a cornered animal and that could make for a long afternoon. I hope I'm wrong.

If they couldn't get up for a game against arch rival giants or vicks former team and conference threat falcons, their motivation level doesn't concern me. In fact I think this is a team the harder they press the worse they play. Edited October 7, 2011 by Joe_the_6_pack
iinii Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Just an FYI, Only Ron Jaworski picked the Bengals over the Bills last week. Nobody picked the Bills to beat the Patriots. Everybody has a right to their own opinion. If it makes you feel better I think the Bills will blow out the Eagles. I feel better already
stevestojan Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Unless we picked up a new defense I haven't heard about, we're screwed.
basskik11 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Man now that I think about it....talk about no respect. We are 3-1 and at home and they are 1-3 and away- AND WE ARE STILL THE DOGS! Gimme a break, this game is scary and all, but I hope we beat the hell out of them. It would be great to go 4-1 and put them at 1-4 especially since I'm down here in Delaware in "Eagles Country" ! Go Bills!
WVUFootball29 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I don't know guys...Vick and company are gonna be like a pack of hungry dogs looking for that second win.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 As I posted yesterday on another thread, I heard on the radio this astounding fact: In the history of NFL point spreads, this is the first time that a 3-1 team has been a home underdog to a 1-3 team.

rayray808 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Am I the only one that realizes that we are going to beat the Eagles because Kafka will be playing from the 2nd quarter on? Vick ain't gonna last this game

Vick ain't gonna last this game If Kafka plays the Eagles will undergo a Metamorphosis. They will play like Hunger Artists once they are rid of that QB who spent the last few years In the Penal Colony. It will be a Trial for the Bills. But in the end they will prove once again that in America, the Ralph is their Castle. Edited October 7, 2011 by Dr. K
KD in CA Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 If we contain Vick, we win. Well that should be easy, with all our top flight DEs and LBs. I think Fitz & Co. need to regain the magic to win this one.
Dorkington Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 We can't stop opposing teams. And the Eagles can probably stop us sometimes. So... yeah, it's easy to see why we are underdogs.
CarolinaBill Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Just to ease your mind, the playbook crew on nfl network picked us 3-1 to win with matt millen being the only one to pick philly.
