DC Tom
I'm starting to think he's going to bow out. Your reasoning is astounding. What a coherent and erudite post.
1billsfan
He almost has to bow out. There's one thing that Americans can't stand and that's losing. He was given four years and unless a miracle happens things will be just as bad if not worse in 2012. Once he realizes there's no way he can win re-election he'll probably do the ego driven thing and not even give America the chance to reject his presidency. drinkTHEkoolaid
No way he decides this on his own. His ego is too big to make that decision. Besides if he leaves on his own then it's an admission that he has accepted that his policies were epic failures and he is too arrogant to do that. The only way he goes is if the democrats/liberals mutiny against him from within the party.

And even then, he'd still be convinced he represents the American people and has their unequivocal support, based on the unwavering positive feedback he gets at his stage-managed speeches and rallies. He's no doubt convinced that his rabid little minority of worshipers is actually the vast majority of people. Just like Hitler.

Just like Hitler. unlike Obama, at least Hitler united his country sure it ended in complete destruction 12 years later but that's beside the point. Dante
unlike Obama, at least Hitler united his country sure it ended in complete destruction 12 years later but that's beside the point. As evil as Hitler was, the guy sure knew how to get things done. Even if it was trying to take over the world and slaughter millions of innocent people in the process. When has such a relatively small country mobilized so quickly and efficiently? Point is, Obama couldn't run a lemonade stand. Only regulate it. Hitler was a monster. A evil genius. But he was a leader and a effective one. Our guy? Not so much.

The Weimar Republic had something like the third-biggest economy in the world, and put a lot of work into establishing the base on which the Third Reich expanded. In other words, if Obama is Hitler, it's Bush's fault.
