DC Tom
MSNBC......FOX.......call them liberal and conservative? I call it entertainment for dummies who can't think for themselves and need self validation. Not just dummies. If you're smart, they're still hilarious. Adam
Not just dummies. If you're smart, they're still hilarious. They can be, as long as you watch it with understanding of what they are doing. +1 to anyone who is able to do that.

1billsfan
MSNBC......FOX.......call them liberal and conservative? I call it entertainment for dummies who can't think for themselves and need self validation. As far as ESPN being wrong? Well, maybe the government needs to step in to regulate hiring and firing practices...... Sorry, but it's insane to equate Fox News with MSNBC. While Fox obviously does have a conservative slant, they repeatedly have liberals pundits debating conservatives pundits when discussing their stories. That makes them at least making an honest attempt to be fair in their coverage. MSNBC has literally become government propaganda TV. They went off the reservation once Obama came onto the scene. While MSNBC is busy being a punchline, Fox News is the main source where America goes for a quick cable news fix. Let's not forget that the two resident conservative "crazies" on Fox News, Beck and Hannity, were very much ON THE MARK about Obama. There's no disputing this anymore and it's a shame that America didn't listen to Hannity's dire warnings about who the man truly was instead of buying all the BS the MSM was feeding them. Let us all hope that Americans won't be so foolish again. Edited October 7, 2011 by 1billsfan

IDBillzFan
While Fox obviously does have a conservative slant, they repeatedly have liberals pundits debating conservatives pundits when discussing their stories. That makes them at least making an honest attempt to be fair in their coverage. What they have are people spewing ideological talking points on both sides. On the left you get people like Alan Colmes and Bob Beckel, and on the right you get people like Hannity, and all they do is spit out their ideological views. The only person on Fox who even remotely can be considered a valuable voice of either side is Joe Trippe, and he doesn't get near the airtime a smart guy like that deserves because he doesn't throw bombs. Beyond that, the only slot worth watching on Fox is Brett Baier.
1billsfan
Don't get your hopes up I know. As of right now I'm leaning towards Herman Cain with Romney as the backup plan. While not perfect picks, either one of these guys are lightyears ahead of who we have now. What they have are people spewing ideological talking points on both sides. On the left you get people like Alan Colmes and Bob Beckel, and on the right you get people like Hannity, and all they do is spit out their ideological views. Beyond that, the only slot worth watching on Fox is Brett Baier. True dat. The panel section is the only real "serious" debating on Fox. I think most Americans fall in the middle anyways. They know that the far left and the far right are beholden to something other than their interests.

Both have made mistakes, as all leaders will, but the current crisis is more about the housing problem and paying for what happened on 9/11. That horrible debt wasn't Bush's fault, nor is it Obama's. Tings happen. Instead of pointing fingers, the democrats and republicans should renounce their nation and embrace America, instead.
