Albany,n.y. Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I used to live in NY and had some orthodox jewish friends that told me they would never buy a Mercedes Benz. This struck me as extreme but in a way I can kind of see the unforgiving nature over what their ancestors suffered during WWII. I now wonder if they would attend a games at the Superdome? The C300 is made in South Africa. They can buy one now. I used to joke that I would never buy a Japanese car after WWII while I have driven 2 German made cars & 3 other German engineered cars, including 2 that were built in Pennsylvania before they closed the VW plant.
