l< j Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/rapid-reports/post/15680817 Head coach Chan Gailey said the injury will not require any type of surgery and that the team will see how he responds to rehabilitation. Commence wailing in 3, 2, 1... kj
TheBlackMamba Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Excellent. Wonderful news. Not only can we not stop the run or the pass or a decent pass rush but now the starting LT is out. DOOMED I tell ya...DOOOOOOOOOMED!
QB Bills Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 they're missing cole so it kind of balances out although i think babin has been playing better this year anyway
mrags Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 It's Hairston time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I personally think Chan just had this conversation with Buddy. "well, we thought Hairston would be our starting LT going forward so now we just have to speed up the learning curve" I'm guessing we keep Hairston as our starting LT next year and Bell is not renewed.
John from Riverside Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Like what I have seen out of Hairston.....I am not as worried about this as some will be

What makes you guess that? Bell has played very well. We need depth at the position. Doesn't add up? Unless of course you are in the Ralph is cheap crowd, THEN it might make sense. but I don't subscribe to that nonsense.
phillyrich Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Like what I have seen out of Hairston.....I am not as worried about this as some will be Agree. I think Hairston will do just fine. Trent Cole will be out for the Eagles. Babin....really not to worried about him. What will be key is how Wood handles Blitz protections. I see this etting up as a Bills win. Oh, Jason Peters is out for Philly so we might finally see some sort of pass rush.
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Hairston has held up well at every opportunity-- late in the preseason, the 4th quarter against KC, and again yesterday. I do hope that Urbik is back, he seems better than Rinehart.
Captain Hindsight Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Isn't Hairston the only other tackle on the roster? Do we have to get another?
Bill from NYC Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Oh, Jason Peters is out for Philly so we might finally see some sort of pass rush. Link? I know Peters is hated in these parts but him being out of the lineup would be HUGE!!!
PromoTheRobot Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Link? I know Peters is hated in these parts but him being out of the lineup would be HUGE!!! I think we have a better chance of sacking Vick if Peters was playing. PTR
Bill from NYC Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I think we have a better chance of sacking Vick if Peters was playing. PTR Right, gotcha!
John from Riverside Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I think these things will have very little impact on the game.... I dont see Fitz having to worry about having Hairston blocking his blind side....... If we stop Michael Vick it will be because we didnt allow him to escape the pocket like we did we DALTON The key to his game is going to be whether we can get pressure on Vick and stop their running game like we did with the Raiders...if the defense plays like it did against the Bengals we are going to lose.
QB Bills Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 I think we have a better chance of sacking Vick if Peters was playing. PTR Ugh.. Even after all this time, some Bills fans can't admit that Peters is a good player?
