bills44 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 can we get an official explanation as to why the play to SJ was called incomplete on the field? Also, can we get official clarification as to what an offensive hold is? Great job today, zebras. They were just as bad as the Bills' D.

No hard feelings eh?
NewEra Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 The refs lost us the game. We played poorly. No doubt about it. But the refs took the game out of our hands

Merriman cannot catch a break. The Stevie Johnson catch was a catch.
bills44 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I'm not sure why it was called incomplete on the field, and I'm not sure how the replay was inconclusive.
Fastro Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Questionable call as well on the Dalton "1st down".
ofiba Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 If it was ruled a completion the Bengals wouldn't have even ask for a review because it was so obviously a catch.
bills44 Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Questionable call as well on the Dalton "1st down". Apparently, that replay was "conclusive"
UConn James Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 The refs lost us the game. We played poorly. No doubt about it. But the refs took the game out of our hands We wouldn't have played / looked nearly as poorly if the refs had called a clean game.
Numark Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 i have such a sick feeling in my stomach purely because of this call
BillsVet Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I used to think Steratore was a solid referee. After this game, I have serious doubts about he and his crew. That said, Buffalo was out-coached and out-played.

Also, can we get official clarification as to what an offensive hold is? Great job today, zebras. They were just as bad as the Bills' D. Our D was coached poorly, ridiculous gameplan...but they did enough that we should have won had the ref not been a nutjob. Every call went their way from taking back a touchdown to calling a phantom incomplete.
b-unit Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 that no catch was the biggest bs call ever i didnt see one angle where that was not a catch. if they would have made the right call that game would have been different but whatever we dont have tom brady or payton manning so the refs/nfl dont suck our d cks
RVJ Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 (edited) I agree, they weren't going to let us win no matter what. Im still steaming over that non-catch. But no excuse for that defense. We played better defense under Perry Fewell with worse players. Its time to can George Edwards and make Dave Wannstedt defensive coordinator . Edited October 2, 2011 by RVJ
Chef Jim Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I agree, they weren't going to let us win no matter what. Really?? No.......really???
ofiba Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Awful call, but do fans seriously believe there is some sort of NFL conspiracy that involves influencing the outcome of a week 4 matchup between the Bengals and the Bills. Seriously?
