Hammered a Lot Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 (edited) Various tailgate parties held around the Ralph were videoed before the Pats vs Bills game. This feature is supposed to air 9-30-11 but nothing in the world of tv is set in stone. Edited September 30, 2011 by Hammered a Lot

erynthered Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 http://www.cbsnews.c...ain;contentBody Great story, highlighting the Ralph as the "temple of tailgating." That was really cool. God I miss doing that.
Captain Hindsight Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I love Buffalo so much. People always ask me why I continue to buy tickets even when they suck and go tailgate for hours before the game. Thats why, because every Sunday morning I get to hang out with my friends and bills brethren, talk football, play a game or two throw a few back and have a burger. I honestly cannot think of a better way to spend my day. Thank you Bills fans for making my Sundays wonderful for the past 3 years. Hopefully for many more
The Senator Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Never saw grilled lobster at RWS before. Nice feature - more great exposure for Buffalo. Here's a link to the video... Gourmet Tailgating Helps that Early Show anchor Jeff Glor is from WNY (Kenmore), but I expect we'll see more and more features from The BuffTown as the Bills fight their way to... 19 and 0 baby!!! GO BILLSSS!!!!
Golden Wheels Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I'd give anything for a couple grilled white hots for lunch today, smeared with Webers Mustard. *drool*
SF Bills Fan Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I just watched that segment on the Early Show. It really made me want to get back there for a game. It looks like people have taken tailgating to the next level. They had a guy cooking a pizza in an oven.
IC Bomber Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 (edited) Jeff Glor is a Buffalo native and was one of my brother's roommates at Syracuse. Huge Bills fan and a great guy. He was practically beaming at the beginning of the segment - the whole thing was probably his idea. With respect to Luke Russert, Jeff is our next Tim Russert; a proud Buffalo guy with a national media presence. Edited September 30, 2011 by IC Bomber

wkndjohn2 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 "It's like walking through everyone's back yard with no fences.." Love it! It's good to be proud again!

BillsFanNC Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 What a great piece. I had such a blast tailgating before the Raiders game. I love the shout out to the local craft brewer at the end, I'd like to get my hands on some of that stuff.
SF Bills Fan Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 What was he using to cut the pizza? Grass shears? He was using scissors. I use that technique myself. If you looked closely, at another tailgate, a guy was cooking on a saw.
D521646 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 A few years back Nick Tahoes would host a tent att he Ralph and server their famous garbage plates.. Nothing beats it ever! Tim-
Guffalo Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 He was using scissors. I use that technique myself. If you looked closely, at another tailgate, a guy was cooking on a saw. Thats all at the Pinto, the pizza in the file cabinet (lower drawer id full of hot coals), cutting the pizza with grass shears, the shishkebobs on the screwdrivers over a bed of coals in the toolbox, the burgers on the rake, bacon on the hand saw, chicken wings cooked in an army helmut of hot vegatable oil, Omlettes on a garden shovel/spade. He and his team are very creative.
Ramblin' Rob Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Teared me up a little...I love my home. Thanks for the link Sen.
judman Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I feel lame now for just grabbing some cold cuts for the last game. Next time, I'll have to gear up.
