If you've devoted your life to one, narrow-minded pursuit that everyone other than your fellow narrow-minded zealot friends think is nothing but a joke, it would probably make you kind mean and bitter after a while.

Of course, if that pursuit is calling people idiots, you achieve a sort of chicken-and-egg conundrum...

True, but alerting people to their idiocy at least performs a public service.

And PETA billboards create jobs.

Admittedly, only for the people that put up the billboard...

A couple days to a week ago somebody vandalized the PETA headquarters in downtown Norfolk with fishguts.

You'd figure such a controversial organization would have security cameras. But no, strangely they didn't seem to catch anything.

The consensus opinion around here is they did it themselves for publicity.

"Byrne said Americans kill 12 billion fish annually for food."

Just for kicks, how many trees & plants would need to be killed to deliver the same amount of nutrients as those fish?

Welcome to PETP! Here are PETP our mission is clear. We are against exploitation of living plants in any way shape or form. The exploitation of these living organisms is a horrible trend that just seems to grow every year. Please help us in the fight to save our beloved green friends!

Horrible Harvest

These cabbage were harvested by a large knife and cut away from it's natural environment. Shortly after being ripped from the earth they are throw one on top of another into a trailer which smells of rotting cabbage. The next stop on this ride of horror is your local organic food store.

You're getting ahead of yourself. You can also get nutrients from pills like the Jetsons.

I don't know. What's the nutritional value of, say, pine?
