Dante Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 (edited) There is something very wrong with these people http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/09/29/mother-shark-attack-victim-says-peta-campaign-is-over-top/ Edited September 29, 2011 by Dante
KD in CA Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 If you've devoted your life to one, narrow-minded pursuit that everyone other than your fellow narrow-minded zealot friends think is nothing but a joke, it would probably make you kind mean and bitter after a while.
DC Tom Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 If you've devoted your life to one, narrow-minded pursuit that everyone other than your fellow narrow-minded zealot friends think is nothing but a joke, it would probably make you kind mean and bitter after a while. Of course, if that pursuit is calling people idiots, you achieve a sort of chicken-and-egg conundrum...
KD in CA Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Of course, if that pursuit is calling people idiots, you achieve a sort of chicken-and-egg conundrum... True, but alerting people to their idiocy at least performs a public service.
DC Tom Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 True, but alerting people to their idiocy at least performs a public service. And PETA billboards create jobs. Admittedly, only for the people that put up the billboard...
/dev/null Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 A couple days to a week ago somebody vandalized the PETA headquarters in downtown Norfolk with fishguts. You'd figure such a controversial organization would have security cameras. But no, strangely they didn't seem to catch anything. The consensus opinion around here is they did it themselves for publicity.
Gary M Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Of course, if that pursuit is calling people idiots, you achieve a sort of chicken-and-egg conundrum... It must really suck to be as irrelevant as PETA is.
GG Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 "Byrne said Americans kill 12 billion fish annually for food." Just for kicks, how many trees & plants would need to be killed to deliver the same amount of nutrients as those fish?
DaveinElma Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I'm sure all those PETA members are pro-abortion too.
Booster4324 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Just for kicks, how many trees & plants would need to be killed to deliver the same amount of nutrients as those fish? Ahh it comes out, GG is a member of PETP. Welcome to PETP! Here are PETP our mission is clear. We are against exploitation of living plants in any way shape or form. The exploitation of these living organisms is a horrible trend that just seems to grow every year. Please help us in the fight to save our beloved green friends! (Fur is soft, Hemp is itchy) Act of Violence! Horrible Harvest These cabbage were harvested by a large knife and cut away from it's natural environment. Shortly after being ripped from the earth they are throw one on top of another into a trailer which smells of rotting cabbage. The next stop on this ride of horror is your local organic food store.
GG Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Ahh it comes out, GG is a member of PETP. No blood for cantalopes.
ieatcrayonz Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Just for kicks, how many trees & plants would need to be killed to deliver the same amount of nutrients as those fish? You're getting ahead of yourself. You can also get nutrients from pills like the Jetsons.
DC Tom Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Just for kicks, how many trees & plants would need to be killed to deliver the same amount of nutrients as those fish? I don't know. What's the nutritional value of, say, pine? You're getting ahead of yourself. You can also get nutrients from pills like the Jetsons. The Jetsons come in pill form?
Chef Jim Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 The Jetsons come in pill form? Oh yeah. I've gotten Jetsoned from pills in my past.
GG Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 I don't know. What's the nutritional value of, say, pine? Balsam or Douglas fir?
ieatcrayonz Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 The Jetsons come in pill form? Duh. They are the best selling brand of vitamins in the US.
3rdnlng Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Duh. They are the best selling brand of vitamins in the US. So, do you prefer to eat Fred, Barney or Wilma or I guess what's her name?
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 So, do you prefer to eat Fred, Barney or Wilma or I guess what's her name? That would be Betty, who is hot hot by anyones standards. Umm low cut saber tooth dress?
/dev/null Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 That would be Betty, who is hot hot by anyones standards. Umm low cut saber tooth dress? Yeah but he prefers his boy Elroy over daughter Judy
Jim in Anchorage Posted October 1, 2011 Posted October 1, 2011 Yeah but he prefers his boy Elroy over daughter Judy Wrong show. The real question is, who are Bam-Bams natural parents? Why did they give him up? So many unanswered puzzles.
