HopsGuy
161 games and then last night. The Cardinals destroyed the Astros with Chris Carpenter breaking faces. That was expected. The other 3 games were nuts. The Yanks were all over the Rays after Teixeira's grand slam, but let it slip away after putting the game in the hands of the Scranton bullpen. 8 runs later, Rays win. In Baltimore, Paplebon blew the save, end of season for the Red Sox who were supposed to be better than the '27 Yankees. Then in Atlanta, well this photo says it all. HopsGuy
Why was she crying when it was 3-2 Braves?? Bases loaded, one out, & Chase Utley was coming up. It was obvious how this was going to play out. Joe Posnanski wrote a great column about last night. Edited September 29, 2011 by HopsGuy
Pine Barrens Mafia
My cold, dead heart is warmed by the thought of the angst that must be afflicting the M!@#$s today after their beloved Pats and Red Sux took a shat on the chin.

Alaska Darin
Guess those Red Sox won't be considered better than the 27 Yankees now! LOL! MWAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! http://www.nesn.com/2011/01/2011-red-sox-will-challenge-1927-yankees-for-title-of-greatest-team-in-major-league-history.html You know, it's funny. For years I've been inundated with people who whine about the Yankees spending money. Now the RedSox open the purse pretty wide and haven't been able to get into the playoffs for 2 straight seasons. I guess it's a lot harder than it looks, huh Theo?
