Cool as hell! I love raptors and owls are some of my favorites. A couple weeks ago I saw a short eared owl take out a 4 foot snake. It was hovered 10 feet away from me 10 feet off the ground holding the snake- all I could see was the white underbelly. Awesome!

That's very cool. Have you seen the extreme slow mo of (sorry, can't remember the type) the owl that is 'forced' to go through a smaller and smaller openings? Very cool to see how it controls its body, wings, head, feet all at once.

Have not seen that. It really is amazing how they control themselves.

Walking out in the night pastures when you're not really paying attention and hear an owl take flight can really startle you, a big black ominous figure just moving across the sky. I understand why batman is batman, but an owl is much more intimidating.
