Clippers of Nfl
First off, hot vegas girls "Hazard", new penalty. I thought this was a nice touch. Because at one point if you were last on the 1st challenge, you didnt even make the flight.... sucks. Please add anything

ajzepp
SPOILER BELOW: Non-elimination legs suck. Non-elimination legs in the first episode are ridiculous. Yep, I was surprised at that. Grandma and Grandpa were off touring the country side, seemingly oblivious that they were even in a race...for them to have a non-elimination leg wasted on them was sort of silly. I'm glad those hot chicks who lost their passport made it, though...thank God for social networking!!!

Mark Vader
SPOILER BELOW: Non-elimination legs suck. Non-elimination legs in the first episode are ridiculous. Completely disagree. Elimination legs in the first episode suck. I think it's great that every team gets to experience the opening leg of the race without facing elimination. Let all of the teams have that moment of enjoying the full experience of one leg without having to get eliminated. Now that that's out of the way, you can have the free-for-all. Good move CBS. I agree that it's dumb when CBS had the initial challenge and said "There's 12 groups - only the first 11 who solve this problem get to keep going," so a team gets eliminated like 20 minutes (real time) into the race. But the team that finishes last on the first leg STILL got to experience the first leg, including flying to a different country and doing those challenges. Why should they get to stay? If you want them to have more of an experience, then why are they kicking players off of Survivor after only 3 days? Same thing.

Rico
HATE Jenna & Ethan from Survivor, DO NOT LIKE the flight attendants, DO NOT CARE for slow grandpa and grandma (should've been booted), LIKE the Vegas showgirls (not cause I think they are hot, but cause they were pretty cool getting back in the game), everybody else is OK so far. I didn't pay it any attention for the first several years it was on, but a few years go I got hooked. I love seeing them race around the world and interact with other cultures and traditions...not to mention the way the stress of the race can wreak major havoc on the relationships among and between the racers/teammates. Okay. The fact that it is slow paced, the fact that the show is boring, the fact that there are people in the world mentally incapable of doing what we can do any day of the week (See the monkey guy on the Southeast Asia episode) the fact that my siblings forced me to watch it when I could be watching Deadliest Warrior, and the fact that it is getting undeserved love. No, I'm just saying that I like them more for getting back in the game than because they are hot.. The twins were way hotter, but I wasn't too impressed with what I've seen of their game. UConn James
Watched, but just waiting for something to formulate wrt favorites. Right now, I'm not seeing a team I really like. (At this point, it's probably the Asian girl and the slightly-creepy-looking dude who came in 1st place). There really isn't a set "I hate these people. I like these people" as seasons past and especially with last season's second chance race. I suppose it'll develop. The old couple really ought to have been put out of their misery. 'Maybe we should go in this building and go on the elevator to see a sign that's on the side of a building....' Apparently no one informed them that you need to be quick on your feet, try a lot of things, ask the locals questions, and be quick-witted. Now, the lady got the telephone message on the first go, which was impressive compared to everyone else, but a double-elimination and an extra task for them is all but a kiss of death. The dancers just piss me off 1) because they're stoooopid and 2) they've dolled themselves up to look like Kardashian sisters. And no, when you really look at them, they're not hot at all. Add in Ms. I-lost-my-passport-"Will you communicate with me?" and it'd be enough for me to drive off a cliff having to share a car with her. How is communication going to do anything to resolve the fact that you lost your f---ing passport 20 minutes into a race around the world. They are stevestojan-lucky that two dudes who've been deluded by society into thinking these girls are attractive drove to LAX thinking they'd get on camera and will be owed something for their action. Clippers of Nfl
I', sorry, but I've always hated this show. Like hate hate HATED this show. i hated the family version.... but in reality, this show is great. they go to cool places i know i'll never go to. i have a friend that at one point was a camera guy for that show. he said its insane to catch up to these racers. no wonder it owns the emmys! another thing about the show. some episodes will just be ok and some will blow you away. just like soaps, or any other show, if you really get into the show, like into their characters, you'll like the people in it. reason being you will like a couple, dislike a couple, root for a couple. kinda like sports. watching the show with some focus will automatically bring out some emotions and make you root for a winner, hence like the show, even on a slower episode. wow, you guys should call me mr run on sentences. lol hope this explains the love of this show. 1 episode will not knock your shoes off. the group of all the episodes should. but if you dont like travel shows and people doing weird stuff, then this show is not for you. UConn James
You guys are WAY to much into TV. And you're apparently WAY too much into reading and responding to threads about TV shows you don't even watch. If you don't like it, you're not chained to the TV, nor were you required to click on this thread. Seriously, pee off.

UConn James
First, Ma and Pa. Excellent recovery even tho that wasn't much of a Speed Bump.... Forgot to mention last week that Ma sounds so much like the mother on "That 70s Show." It's really uncanny. Second.... The Amazing part of this week was how many teams totally missed the sign at the orphanage. If nothing else thru all the seasons of this game, players should know they have to pay attention to everything. Notes at the competition sites, need to read your clues in their entirety, your eyes need to be peeled. There were a couple of people who seemed to notice the sign in its rectangle-ness (the guy racing with Sandy looked right toward it the first time they were there!) and their eyes just failed to process a single word even when it was in English. Some of them just don't seem to get that this isn't a show that will let anything slide; if you miss doing something, you've gotta go back and do it, even if it means mopeding 100 miles backtrack and another 100 miles like the Cowboys last season. Definitely developed a few likeable teams tonight after last week's initial ep. The surfer guys were the first to notice on their own and they were excited to give the orphanage the last of their money, as if they were only sorry that they hadn't thought to do that on their own. Liked that the Asian girl and slightly-creepy-looking-guy took it so much to heart that they screwed up and this was their comeuppance to a race that to that point had been going so easy for them. The gay guy in the shake it challenge? Worst dancing ever. Aren't gay guys supposed to have rhythm? And this week's team drama attack, the brother and sister team getting at each other's throats so early on does not bode well for when the challenges get tougher and more competitive. It's one thing for the dancers to be peeved at each other over a lost passport last week. That was something. These two were just barking at each other over nothing. (Sorry, I suck with names --- unless there's a hot girl involved --- and with camera time so split up between them all, I'm not going to retain names as such until it gets down to ~ five teams.)
