DDD Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 (edited) I like our chances especially against a rookie QB starting his 4th game. Not in my wildest dreams did I think the Bills would be 4-0 but it's likely...and they would have to completely implode in a Jauron-like fashion not to make the playoffs starting 4-0. billsfreak Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82299890/article/lewis-says-bengals-turnaround-will-begin-this-week-vs-bills?module=HP11_headline_stack lol good, pump our team up even more. You are a couple days late, this thread was started a day or two ago. Besides, what do you expect Lewis to say? "The Bills are playing pretty well so we don't have a chance?"
Buffalo Beeeews Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis, in a press conference guaranteed (in so many words) a Bengals victory: "We're early in the year," Lewis said. "We've got a lot of season ahead of us. And you know, at the end of the week when we're 2-2, there's going to be probably the other third of the league is going to be in the same situation." I don't know about the rest of you, but this kinda makes me feel a little better about Sunday. If the Bills were overlooking Cincy this weekend, they now have a reason not to and hopefully will throw this bad-boy on the bulliten board.
Harveyj001 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Not much different than Chan and his 16-0 comment. You have to believe, not hope that you should win every weekend.
Fan in Chicago Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Lewis Guarantees W vs Bills So is that an article or a real quote ? If true, I would challenge Lewis to the other side of the equation. Every guarantee has a payback if not delivered. What will he do ? Shave his head ?
San Jose Bills Fan Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 He's still their coach? He's been bad forever! Hmmm… anything Marvin Lewis has done as Bengals Head Coach has to be viewed in the context of working for the Cincinnati Bengals and Mike Brown.
